The different economic levels were depicted as wrong- those with less income were shown as victims and exploited by those with more income AND that government was the mechanism to correct the problem. Add to that the recent claim that the money to fix things can be printed up and distributed with no regard to actual goods and services and that anyone not in favor of correcting these wrongs is a selfish sinner and what else could the result be?

When I’ve been in Shanghai the river is just a mass of commercial traffic. It would be interesting to see the same chart pre-COVID. This may not be unusual.

I suspect it will be the same or worse in other places. Reading history you find this common thread of brutality that seems to follow the Soviet/Russian military. One thing that's been accomplished, they have destroyed any chance of the people of Ukraine every wanting anything to do with Russia or Russians. And it's very possible that there won't be a lot of Russian prisoners taken in other places after this.

The sad thing is...

Jen Psaki will be telling us "its Putin's fault!" 2-3 months from now when the supply chains grind to an even slower pace than they are already moving at... and.. half of the country will believe her..

Our own ports cant seem to get things off boats and onto trucks fast enough..

Now foreign ports cant get things off of trucks and onto boats fast enough...

But once the mid terms get into full swing this summer.. and we see further increases in fuel prices (like we see every summer).. continued inflation.. and continue to find it difficult to get replacement parts for appliances, vehicles, etc.. it will all be because Trump and Putin are bad men....

November will be very telling as to where our country goes for the next decade or two...
