I watched a news program here in Colorado tonight and a question they put out there was what is it going to take for the R's to win something. The answer is quite simple, they need to pull their heads out of their rears and nominate a person who has a chance of winning.

Forget about what happened two years ago and get on with it. They showed all the R canadits that were running for a state wide office and out of five of them not one got 45% of the vote and most were under 44%.

Even Bobert (sp) is in a race that she never expected. The last that I saw it was a 50/50 tie in a district that she ran away with just two years ago. Why? Because voters are sick and tired of the crap that comes out of her mouth.

I personally believe that if Trump runs in 2024 that Joe or whoever the D's run will beat him again. Not because his policies are crap but because he doesn't know when to keep his mouth closed, and I voted for him twice.

I got up early and voted yesterday, generally the same way I have for the last 40+ years. I had quit watching the news and reading newspapers almost 20 years ago, what I believe does not change. If you ever think that a politician will make your life better then you will always be disappointed. I woke up this morning and watched the sunrise, My wife was still there and I could not tell anything major had changed in my life, because it hadn’t. If you want to make a difference then visit your neighbors and see if anyone needs help with anything. Be a shining light to those around you. To totally immerse yourself and your peace of mind in an election is a futile effort. I find that a higher percentage of the population has views that differ from mine, that does not make them my enemies. The USA was founded on freedom, personal liberties and the rule of law. These are ideals that do not seem to be embraced as strongly by the next generation. As the years have reduced to an extent my mobility, as my eye sight has faded, as the ringing in my ears from years of shooting has increased I find that I welcome each new day as more precious then the one before. I, god willing will be back in early June of 2023 to pursue game with my good friend Doug3006 on the continent that has always inspired me and I shall keep this thought in mind “ The grass withers and the flowers fade but the word of our lord lasts forever“ Amen my friends.

Based upon your previous posts, you seem to be comfortable with the Russian version of the performance of the second army in the world in Ukraine. I simply wanted to make sure you didn't miss that they aren't having a particularly good day today. That army's supporters, many of whom populate the Telegram channel, are deep into shadenfreude this evening.

So I don't think I attacked you personally. Perhaps I misread the tenor of your comments with respect to Ukraine, but I don't think so - and that isn't personal. I actually know the definition of ad Hominum. However, I absolutely did mean to attack Alex Jones. He is a certifiable nut job and conspiracy crank. He just received a billion $ civil judgement against him for spreading particularly vile conspiracy nonsense about a terrible school shooting in this country several years ago. It looks like it may go to $3 billion before everything is done.

Some of his other more intriguing conspiracies besides Sandy Hook include Hillary Clintons's child sex ring run from a pizza parlor, Robert Mueller's secret identity as a demonic pedophile, and the US government's control of weather to punish the administration's enemies (floods in Texas) and to control the climate change narrative. What better source could you find on the current election.

I regret that I am not well versed in the whole cancel culture terminology. But I certainly have no intent of "canceling" you. I could simply push ignore if I wanted to do that. Again, I do not believe that I attacked you personally. You have posted a number of attachments here that are the product of Russian propaganda. I have tried to reply to those, yours or anyone else, to insure the other side of the issue is also understood. I admit I am probably far too curt with respect to military mis or disinformation simply because it is an area of which I have considerable professional expertise.

If you feel like you a have "called me out" then fine. I don't feel that way, but you should interpret this exchange however you wish.

You are obviously a valuable contributor to this forum. While I deeply disagree with the idea that Putin's ambitions in Ukraine are of no national interest to this country, I am happy to debate that theory with anyone, and a number of us have had a robust discussion with respect to the subject. I don't think that I have changed any minds, but a healthy discussion is usually better than letting assumptions simply go unchallenged.

You are correct that I should not have made such an assumption about Christensen. It is simply that I can not fathom how anyone would risk their reputation by associating themselves with one of the vilest creatures on the internet. I do not know if you are aware of the Sandy Hook school shootings that occurred in Connecticut in 2012. A twenty year old monster by the name of Adam Lanza killed 26 people including 20 children between the ages of 6 and 7. Alex Jones concocted a conspiracy theory that he spread among his largely far right wing followers, that the whole event was actually staged in order to attack the second amendment. He claimed the dead children were played by actors. Were he simply some idiot in a bar, no one would have cared. But his "Infowars" channel gets around 10 million viewers a month. Parents of some of the dead children were even harassed by his followers. You can imagine their anguish as this conspiracy nonsense was periodically reported on by the traditional media as well. Eventually, a group of parents sued. Jones just recently received a billion dollar judgement against him due to the harm caused by his viscous lies. As I noted in my other post, this is just one of a string of ridiculous conspiracies that he has championed.

As a result, I am uninterested in anything he wishes to showcase or anyone that chooses Infowars as a platform on which to be interviewed. So I have no interest in listening to anything from one of his broadcasts.

A single nuclear weapon detonated over Kansas at the correct height, and designed to maximize EMP output would instantly destroy every non-hardened electrical component in the country that uses a circuit board or semiconductor. That would include the vast majority of cars, aircraft, computers, cell phones, etc. Every bit of our computer based commerce would be wiped out in an instant along with basics like the utility grid. About the only machine on our place without a chip is my '69 Land Cruiser.

There is an excellent and fairly frightening novel by William Forstchen titled "One Second After" that describes the effect of such a catastrophic attack.

It is high time we took mothballed, unused, museum relic concepts like treason, sedition, attacks on countries sovreighnty and much more into the 21st century, updated to reflect the nefarious activities of not only leftist/communist threats but also the unelected meddling of super rich monsters like Soros and other "one worlders" in Silicon Valley not to mention media fat cats who use our countries own laws to bring us to ruin! Who authorized non governmental spending by Soros in election mischief, who purchased the extra drop boxes, and for God's sake the printing, shipping across state lines, and insertion of ballots by the box at 2:00 am last go-round? The ones who paid for it should face immediate arrest as soon as they enter the US--after all, nobody would be allowed to pull that crap in Chinese territory. Who will be held accountable for the horrendous losses at all levels to our citizens if they are allowed to steer us to the same conclusion as Brazil and Venezuela? Those unelected individuals must not only be put on a leash, but publicly prosecuted, jailed, and then plundered to literal poverty by expanded tort law/lawsuits, and absolutely ruinous governmental fines, IMHO. They are no less harmful than war criminals in bygone days, and our definitions are not even sufficient to deal with new problems in the computer/social media engineering age. Hang a Soros, jail those financing state elections from out of state/out of country and we will get to the real ant burrow, and do the entire world a favor to boot. I met DeSantis face to face at a church in Fla. when he was first running for national office. I asked him to investigate electrical hardening if he should get into office, and explained briefly why (including solar flares at Carrington Effect level).
