What do you guys think the prognosis for the senate is? I can’t get a decent picture out of any of the networks, including fox.
48 / 48 with 4 currently uncalled.

Republicans will likely take Alaska - 48 / 49

If Trump hangs onto North Carolina, there is a reasonable chance he will drag Tom Tillis across - 48 / 50

Republicans need one more because a tie is broken by the Vice President (she doesn't like us very much).

That leaves Georgia's two seats.

Kelly Loeffler (R) (bit of a gold digger looking blond) and Rafael Warnock (D) (affable - he is a pastor - but aggrieved black man) are already going to a runoff because neither got close to 50+%

David Perdue (R) (devoid of personality and many original thoughts) is sitting at 49.81 % and John Ossoff (D) (classic youngish pajama boy) at 47.87%. With so few votes remaining, it is unlikely that either will now reach the magic 50% needed to declare a winner (there will be a recount).

If that holds, the runoff will determine who gets the senate. The two parties will throw a combined billion gazillion dollars at Georgia. I hope they get the harvesting provision fixed ASAP.

And sincerest apologies to whoever's candidate or relative I may have disparaged above. :X3::cool:

If the democrats were smart they would oust Pelosi as speaker. My goodness the old bat is 80 years old. Them old bats just don't what to give up control. We have that problem all over the country.
Pelosi announced that she will be running for speaker again. I doubt they will oust her. Who knows what those psychos will do.?

When is enough, enough? If not now, when? Sure the conservative base is fired up now but we’ve seen that over and over as the years go by. If Trump does in fact lose we will gripe and complain for a while and then the vast majority of us will accept it, plod along thinking “we’ll get em next time”. In that scenario, four years from now, the base may be enthusiastic like it is now and it may not be. I tend to not have very much faith in the judgement of the vast majority of the American people. Our country is being destroyed from the inside. Our apathy and our love of arm chair over country are just as deadly to the future of the country as the actions of these Marxists are. So when is enough, enough? What do we do about it? Will it be enough when they make more states for more electoral votes? When they pack the Supreme Court? When they crash the economy through handouts, high taxes, and asphyxiating regulations? When another million children are murdered in the womb? When hard drugs are decriminalized in more states (Oregon is just the first)? When they pass more gun control laws? When another million illegals have crossed our borders, becoming welfare-ites? When the illegals that are already here are given amnesty, citizenship and become registered Democrats? When another generation of our youth are brainwashed in our institutions of “higher” learning? Our forefathers are rolling in their graves.

That's because there isn't a decent picture of it yet.

The Republicans held most of their seats but lost 2, one here in Colorado and one in Arizona. I haven't really heard if they picked one up from the Democrats or independents

We booted Jones in Bama and put Tuberville in. That’s one for the good guys.

I believe that Pelosi is out, she had to make a lot of deals 2 years ago to become Speaker of the House and quite a few of them were with Republicans. I highly doubt that she will have the votes to repeat. Plus I I believe that she stated that if the Democrats voted for her that she would only serve one term as Speaker.

Republicans!?! She got 220 votes (needed 218) - not even all the democrats voted for her and no republican votes. All of those went for either Kevin McCarthy (192) or Jim Jordan (5).

Just checked - and Jim Massie (R) got one.

Pelosi is the queen of lies.

Our national radio/TV service is another good example. More than half the announcers are some form immigrant.

I had to laugh at the fact the immigrant has an issue with immigrant media personalities.
Or did you mean THOSE immigrants from over there?

Ironic, how these software glitches are discovered after Trumps legal team started filing lawsuits.

Internett koser seg med presidentvalget i USA, og kommer stadig opp med morsomme bilder av begge kandidater.

This is over - Too many states and too many votes. Listening to Pelosi declare a mandate because never before have so many people voted for a political candidate is laughable. She would do well to remind herself that never before have so many people voted against the winning candidate as well. Fortunately, she is incapable of acknowledging that, which can only help in '22 and '24.

The mail-in ballots were the key, and instituting that system was perfectly legal. Between the constitution, the 14th amendment, and several court decisions, the implementation of that procedure was legal. That it may have been abused is another issue entirely. However, the Trump team will have to prove numbers were meaningful enough to change an outcome, or that corruption was so pervasive that a remedy is required. With one state - maybe. But it looks like three or four will push Biden well beyond 270.

The mail-ins are also why any comparison with 2016 is largely fallacious. In some cases almost 50% of the total vote was mail-in. It ran heavily in favor of Dems as the loyally-masked decided cohorts decided not to risk voting centers. A heavy red initial machine count was inevitably followed by a gradual blue mail count. Give the Dems credit that after thoroughly terrifying their voters they came up with a mechanism to secure their votes often long before Trump enthusiasm or Biden family corruption made waves.

I hope the president has people around him that can help him out of his resentment and not drag the legal challenges on endlessly. I should note, Georgia, if trends continue (and in its case a recount will be mandatory) is run by a Republican executive branch. If it is eventually declared for Biden, there is no air at all left in the balloon.
You are wrong and here's why: The US constitution mandates that STATE LEGISLATURES--NOT JUDGES, GOVERNORS OR ELECTION OFFICIALS CHANGE VOTING RULES, THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. All the post Election Day results are illegal. Whether it will be enforced...even the sheriff's dept would not allow legal poll watchers in, despite a court order. This is a leftist bureaucratic coup. you are complicit

So, Red Leg is complicit in a leftist bureaucratic coup?

I don't see that in the messages that he has posted previously.

Can you please expand your thinking for us simple folks to understand?

Anderson Cooper, tops a very long list of media morons.

For over 3 years they screamed about Russian collusion with no proof. Now they are getting a taste of their own medicine.

I believe, and I may be wrong here, that Mr. White is expressing his anger and frustration at the way of thinking that got us into the predicament we are in now. This is the same anger and frustration that got Trump into office in the first place. Red Leg in his recent posts has sought to be objective, unbiased, reasonable, sensible and level headed and I think he has achieved those goals. However, in my humble opinion and with no offense intended I believe that mindset got us to the insanity we’re experiencing now. This is the reason the Republican Party has failed in so many ways. Disunity. Trump should fight to the bitter end and take it all the way to the Supreme Court and the entire party should back him all the way. Fight tooth and nail. The opposition is not objective, unbiased, reasonable, sensible, and definitely not level headed. Do you think if the shoe was on the other foot they would be advising their candidate to concede? Absolutely not (we saw that in 2016, without reason I might add). Every RINO, never Trumper and “moderate” who is talking about concession should be fired by Trump or the American people. I’m not saying Red Leg is any of these things but now is the time to fight like our lives and futures depend on it because they very well may.

That's rich. I am not exactly sure what a "leftist Bureaucratic coup" has to do with a vote count, but perhaps you can explain further. I can be slow and dull witted when not merely complicit.

What this is about is counting ballots. Both federal Appeals Courts and the Supreme court have had cases that offered the opportunity to bring ballot mailing to a halt or to bring post election day counting to a halt. Did not happen. The courts did order some ballot reception date limitations based upon perceived conflict with state law. But no court overturned the use of mail-in ballots or taking however long is necessary to count them. By definition, it was thus legal regardless what you may imagine or opine.

That abuses occurred in that process, I have no doubt. The system is ripe for "ballot harvesting" in particular. I am certain that community organizers gathered those mailed ballots in the large democrat metropolitan areas. I have no doubt they exercised every means at there disposal to insure they were marked for the Biden Harris ticket. That may be illegal in some places (though not all) and certainly unethical, but it was no coup. The Democrat party cleverly used a Covid voting remedy to fully exploit that urban advantage in several states. That it is frustrating is certain. But it is also smart politics.

Both parties have whiffed on opportunities to pursue meaningful election reform. The constitution, 14th amendment, and case law leave much authority to the states. Neither party is really interested in giving up the advantages offered by that authority.

I should point out Georgia is run by Republicans and the vote seems to be compiled competently. It is generally following the same slow-motion blue slide caused by mail-in votes in Michigan and Pennsylvania. Georgia alone will be enough to bring this to an end.

I don't like any of this. I don't like being in a party that allowed itself to be victimized by mail in voting. But I see nothing winnable in this battle. That doesn't mean the Trump campaign shouldn't exploit its every legal recourse. But if I am correct and not merely complicit, politically the focus better shift soonest to those two Georgia senate races. Win those and Biden's "mandate" is nothing but hot air. Loose them. and the Democrat party will indeed do generational damage to our country.

One of the Georgia seats appears to be a lock. The other is definitely winnable. The senate is the republicans to lose. But then again, IMO, so was the presidency.

I saw you were looking for some Swift A-Frames for your 9.3. I just bought a bulk supply of them in the 285g. version. If Toby's are gone, I could let 100 go for $200 shipped you are interested.
Thanks,
