As I said in an earlier post, and Red Leg alluded to, the problem is that more than half of your population has been brainwashed into believing all of the BS that is out there! The things that I see need changing are the following:

Education: Go back to the basics and keep a neutral syllabus throughout the schooling path from grade 1 through to 12. If you want to explore a left or right leaning in college then do so there. At least you are 18+ and have a neutral base from which to start. As for college, it is a breeding ground for extremism! Ban all political teaching and expression on campus grounds. If kids want to have rallies and demonstrate it must be off campus. You are there to learn not waste your parents money stuffing around!

MSM: report the FACTS! Get caught doing what they have been doing for the last 30 years and you get fined heavily for each offence... say $10 million for each. The only way to break the monopoly is to hit them in the pocket very hard! As for Fakebook etc, same applies if they or TV stations keep up their BS then close them down. Too often we see Mark Zuckerberg and other little snots go before congress etc and slime their way out of it. Nothing ever ever happens!

Representation: Maximum of 4/5 terms for representatives of the house and senate. Far too many career politicians that are there purely to get rich and do bugger all.

Lastly, there needs to be more people going to jail for the BS they have pulled in the last 4 years! Trump left it far too late. I understand that he didn't want to be seen to be wiping out the Dem opposition pre-election but we shouldn't be playing the "perception" game. If they can go after a sitting president then surely Trump should have gone right back at them with indictments immediately. By pussy footing around and waiting he has cost the people untold trouble.

If Biden gets in all of the indictments that would have been coming the way of those Dems will fall away. They will never be charged NOR will those implicated in the Jeffery Feinstein / Pedo Island issue.

I foresee a very long road ahead and I'm not sure there will be Republican president in the next term or three... unfortunately.

2. If you don't pay income taxes you don't care about what the government spends money on.
3. If you receive government support (section 8 housing, food stamps, governnent child support, etc, etc.) you are going to vote for the party that promises free stuff.
Everyone votes for what they perceive is in their interest but most have a short sighted and greedy perspective.
We need meaningful voter ID, some income tax for all, no matter how small and less frees stuff without some meaningful payment (work project or community service) for those able bodied.

1. that I, as an illegal - always a criminal offence - receive from the government an identity card (there are many different forms of this) which gives me the right to vote, I cannot believe it.
This does not even exist under Angela Merkel and there are a lot of crazy things, probably the most.
2.this is like with the inheritance tax, if you don't inherit anything it will pass you by.........
3.all democracies in the world are in debt up to their ears, if you don't distribute benefits and only provide hard facts, you won't get elected.

Canada is a great country, BUT it is currently run by politically correct, fringe groups. Banning the hunt of grizzlies in BC on the grounds that it is "no longer socially acceptable " is a prime example. Every city has several rainbow crosswalks to encourage acceptance' of the LGBTQ community. I'm of the opinion that your sexual preferences should remain your own, not flaunted. But just try to declare for heterosexuality. You will be branded a bigit. Our national radio/TV service is another good example. More than half the announcers are some form immigrant. And half the programming seems to have LGBTQ, native, immigrant (usually) Islamic etc. All I want is fair representation. Our premier is happiest giving money to foreign countries, while social welfare needs in Canada remain unaddressed.

Multiply this by the tens of thousands and you have the results of a corrupted, tainted election, every damn one of them in every city in the country, every election. Sad but true.

We can complain about presumed fraud all we want, but we have a far bigger problem in this country.

We need to be honest, that half our fellow citizens support the eviction of the bad orange man if not the election of Biden. That is a very real problem that the Republican party needs to figure out how to address. Setting aside the informed committed Marxists, fully half of our electorate has been successfully propagandized by the MSM and social media. Goebbels' famous quote is even more applicable today than it was nearly 80 years ago.

We desperately need some original thought on how to shatter this monopoly on information.

Every election, we watch the slow metastization of the color blue ever farther across the electoral map. In just the last few decades Arizona, New Mexico, Virginia and Colorado became blue. Does anyone doubt that North Carolina or Georgia aren't right behind.

Somehow, the monopoly on information has to be broken - not by merely offering alternatives on the web, but by breaking through the MSM and social media monopolies on "facts." Otherwise, we will all too soon be completely subsumed by collective

You are pointing out a very real issue in American politics. The Democrat party has successfully morphed from a post-Great Depression "workers party" to one made up of various grievance groups. Based on the racial numbers you are seeing, that seemed a smart strategy. The problem with that strategy is several fold, and has been exposed during the last two cycles.

First American blue-color workers may be a smaller set of the population, but they still vote. And many minorities view worker issues more importantly than racial ones. Trump broke through to that group. Secondly, though it has taken longer than many other ethnic or national immigrant groups (mainly due to the dual language issue), Hispanics are indeed accelerating their assimilation into the broader traditional "American" culture. Most believe in God, hard work, and family. More and more are waking up to discover they are actually conservatives. Asians, though often liberal due to their geographic locations, also make a lousy grievance group over time. You will be hard pressed to find them any more likely than Hispanics raising black flags in support of the BLM or Antifa mobs. On the other hand, you will find many Asians graduating from engineering and medical schools across the country.

If the Democrats aren't careful, and if Republicans, post Trump, can maintain a populist, love of country open tent, they will be left with only their young white socialist cohorts and the mob wanting to break things and get more free stuff. I can't see that as an enduring political strategy.

I agree completely, the strength of the future Republican party will be buoyed up enormously by the other races, mainly Latino and African American. Look at the huge ground swell of these folks coming out for Trump during the campaign, it was very encouraging to see. The trick now is to expand their landing strip and welcome to the party of the sensible.

The only way to beat the Democrats, is to use their own tactics against them. Punch them in the throat as often as possible.

Trump basically blew the election all by himself. He should of won easily. He screwed up the covid task force meetings. Never listened to his own people. Shoved it all off on the governors. Then bitched about what they were doing. I talk to my county commissioner and he said the masked crap flowed all the way down to them so they put it on the businesses. Hopefully we keep the senate. Than I won't have to worry about Senile Joe getting rid of the stepped up bases on my property and keep capital gain rates the same. It's a shame that he just blew it.
