Ironic, Trump gets impeached for calling Ukrainian President about crimes the ex vice president committed for “election interference “…. The democrats import the guy Trump calls and use him to campaign for Harris and it’s called “national security “………. What a total sh() show……..

I would think our House seat will go red, but I thought that last time too. Mary Peltola is sure getting a lot of commercial play up here. Somebody has tons of $ to burn. Didn't help that our Senior Senator Murkowski campaigned with her. Our very own Liz Cheney.

Begich is in a better position without a second Republican like last time. This ranked choice thing is crazy.

Yes, voting is a founding right of the U.S. All of that said, if you truly believe both candidates are unfit to hold the title don’t vote. You can still complain, because you didn’t vote for the person you deem to be garbage.

We will have to remain in disagreement on that...

No participation in the process, no right to bitch... PERIOD! The only right one has at that point is to be a bystander enjoying their principled silence...

I will still vote this year. Don’t get worked up.

Worked up?? Don't mistake my mater of factness for getting worked up about much of anything on a social media site... Telling it like it is in not "worked up" LOL..

My comment was not directed at you per se'... It was a general observation in reference to some previous comments made here by some very opinionated folks who have stated that they would be withholding their vote for POTUS based on their principles...

This is an excellent piece on the historical and cultural underpinnings of the Russian will to fight and sustain casualties. It also dovetails into some of the economic perspectives offered by Nielson in the commentary that I posted yesterday. As I have noted before, Putin and his regime will keep this up until it suddenly can't.

The lack of ability to respond meaningfully to the Kursk incursion (yes, the UA is still there and gradually expanding their foothold), the ever collapsing inventory of armored fighting vehicles, catastrophic losses in munitions, and the ever more desperate effort to find more canon fodder to feed Putin's generals argues that the Russian Army and State may be reaching a military tipping point. Those casualties and the Russian economic situation create slowly growing societal strains.

Though the author carefully does not address the issue directly, I think it is ever more evident that Putin is counting on a Trump presidency to save him from this fiasco. Listening to Vance's incoherence about international issues only underscores that perception on my part.

For those interested in actually understanding something about global political military affairs, War on the Rocks is worth following. It is partnered with the University of Texas, and unlike the Institute for the Study of War, which I also highly recommend, tends to take a broader look at the whole underlying context affecting the course of conflict.

If you were "influencers" of some sort and other people were going to follow your lead or do as you do... then MAYBE.. but even then I'd say you'd have to be one hell of an influential guy to even make a small dent in the end result..
They are influencers. They have moved me from a very reluctant Trump supporter to an enthusiastic one regularly sending in donations;)

I just saw that the President of the Chicago federal reserve Auston Goolsbey wants to do away with the penny, it cost 3 cents to produce a 1 cent coin so it does make a little sense but his solution on what to do with the pennies in circulation is to make them worth 5 cents.
If this would happen all taxes would increase by 5% increments so we consumers lose again and the government wins.
Sounds like the ultimate "rounding error".

But then what becomes of the nickle?

This sounds like a typical government solution....

Ironic, how no Republicans were invited to this little suck-up soiree.
Assuming you are actually replying to me rather than the predator call post (not a bad idea - though there may be copyright issues) - because the plant is located in PA, then perhaps we should try harder with quality candidates to win the governorship and senate seats in that state. The governor and delegation were hosts.

Zelensky will be having bilateral meetings with members of the senate tomorrow. I assume most of the republican house membership will be too busy feigning their outrage for the base to participate.

Perhaps. He has had a liberal arts baccalaureate education with a BA from Ohio State University. However, he would have achieved nothing in expanding his understanding of history, economics, or international relations at Yale Law School or during his subsequent career prior to his election to the senate two short years ago. As Hillbilly Elegy indicates, I doubt international events were a regular dinner time area of discussion and debate. He will be loyal to his boss (as he should), but I think he truly does represent an innocent when reflecting on international issues.

Well he could have been like me and took as an elective Law of the EU, unlike my colleagues who took doing Business with Mexico taught in Spanish.

Well... don't get the sequence out of order.
After the feigned outrage, they have to spend time writing sternly worded letters and then tweeting about it.

Just when you think we've hit rock bottom........................

Coleman was allegedly upset that her apple juice was being confiscated, Arizona's Family reported.

Arizona woman sentenced to prison, banned from flying for assaulting TSA agents

What a dumb B!

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
