I love the 378 they pack a punch very few rifles compare to it, I would not place it in the stopper range as one would ideally be looking for a 500gr projectile to fall in this range.
Can attest to the fact that they put a spell on cats and knock the black of Cape Buffalo.
My best always
;):) I have read through all the posts by now and keep on stopping at the lovely picture of Elizabeth Hurley....
Seriously though, I have thought and looked at it from every angle and have come to a very simple conclusion.... They are just not practical.
Cost of ammunition, weight vs carry...
Welcome to the family! Quite honestly a 375 and up is perfect.
A suggestion, find a dealer where you can test fire both, the one that you are most comfortable shooting on the range is the correct one to buy!
Good luck and enjoy it is a incredible hunt, when conducted appropriately! ;) :)

Pondoro, as I am of Austrian royal decent my post stands without contestation.
On Land Rover.....
A few years after the boers beat the English in the first boer war, the English vowed that they would one day, have their revenge...
They did as 15 years later the first Land Rover arrived in...
There are only 3 good things to come out of England.
They are in order of importance:
1.) the Aston Martin
2.) Elizabeth Hurley
3.) the Holland and Holland.
I know the truth hurts Mike but it is what it is...

It's very easy if those rifles are sponsored.... Preference is key that is correct....
I do not understand how PH's can make statements with regards to ph's based on stoppers used... I guess that's the point I'm getting to...
The 577 and 600 are in the minority when we take fully operational...
Adrian I disagree I constantly hunt DG more than Kudu every season....the true difference between 577NE the 460 WBY is negligable IMHO.
When pushing 6000 Ft/lbs and upwards were splitting hairs, you might have a slight advantage on frontal bullet diameter but I doubt if it'll buy you time just...
Mark gave myself and Eon Kok the same chirp about 12 years ago we were standing at our booth at the eastern outdoor show, when Mark casually approached and initiated conversation.
Soon we ended up on stoppers Mark enquired as to what we were using I stated 460 weatherby, Eon 500 Jeffrey, Mark...
Revia comerciale just across the road from Monte Mosale, there were some fellows trying to stick their fingers into our pie... But I should be starting there around begin July after I'll be of to Cahorra bassa, then to Cinzine and Mavue and the back up Lichinga side early October.
Mike

My best always
I use it extensively in Moz and ended up upgrading with the Garmin fenix 3 Gps watch...
Satellite navigation, it is incredibly handy and dissapear son your wrist.

Could not agree less no matter how I dislike the very industry this is a poor attempt...... Please don't bore me with the details of what you're not..... Rather sell me on what you are...
O yes and areas that you actually have hunting rights to....
This is a terrible add placed by an...
New EU Trophy Import Rules in Effect Despite Procedural Violations
EVEN THOUGH THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION DID NOT FOLLOW ALL MANDATORY PROCEDURAL STEPS FOR RULE CHANGES, NEW IMPORTATION RULES IMMEDIATELY APPLY FOR EU HUNTERS WHO HAVE RECENTLY HUNTED, OR ARE PLANNING TO HUNT WHITE RHINO, LION...
Bluey, this is correct, PHASA had a meeting with the very minister and was assured that all was on par.... A 2 -3 month later and he does this, typical politicians move....
I would stick to a 500gt soft on the 458, the 400grain rounds are as well constructed when using well constructed rounds, but not a DGX or super doper bonded bullet.
Go for the regular Hornady (interlock??) if I'm correct.
And you'll be ok, cats are about wound channel matched with Hydrostatic...
Gordon, I hunt truly wild lion as well, this was a decision based on overall emotion and not one that was intended to serve as a marketing campaign platform for some.
At the LHLF and PHASA meetings today, this is pure ignorance at work.
No matter how good we think we are, it influences us all...
This is from Moz police and customs, no paperwork needed the entire process is around a $1000
Adamo is helping us.
I doubt whether it'll work though.
My best.
We became aware of the rediculously high increases in gun TIP fees early in March. See notice published in October 2014 attached.
Despite an opportunity during the annual hunter's meeting in December to inform us of such, it has not been disclosed. Amos was until March, also unaware of this...
It is a 470 NE, I understand that it opens a little further but find it negligible, the stiffer stacked barrels simply regulates better than sxs.
I like the look of it as well and it has a larger front grip which I like... ;)
But each to his own.
Both Anton and his son appeared in Bela-Bela (warmbaths) magistrates court on a charge of Fraud for defrauding Russian based clients on Rhino hunts in particular.
Both were granted bail.
Anton and his son appeared in court a couple days ago, and they are out on bail for defrauding Russian clients with Rhino hunts, to the value of around $400 000.
This case will take some time. (I thank my dear friend Protas for his relay of info)
Something tells me that they'll start...
It does not look like a cost break down, what does it include apart from the animals listed,
Which ones are trophies which ones aren't price seems good to me...
Be aware of..
Taxes on daily rates and trophy fees?
Transfers?
Concession fees?
Rifle import.
Reinhard booked himself back into hospital yesterday, I told him to calm the F down!
May is a novel idea if I catch him in camp I'll cutt his "canolies" off!
If James can't help you try Global outfitters a hunter friend of mine has used they're service.
Every country has its hypes scares and risks, travel with the right company and you minimize your risk by 99.9%

Very true as mentioned earlier these bodies are not regulatory bodies, which in itself is a good thing, what I do believe though is that hunters should book with members of these professional bodies, as we as PHASA members and you as ZPHGA members encourage on a continual basis..... If not at...
