Your avatar and user name

My Avatar is one of my fallow deer in the process of striping his velvet.
My user name is what my entire family has called me for years. It's from the old cartoon strip called Hagar the horrible. He is an old viking that plunders, pillages, and kills things. One of his quotes is " Patience my ass I'am going out and kill something."

@Bullthrower338 for instance i thought was some serious cowboy who didn't use a rope,
he just wrestled them to the ground.:S Beat Dead Horse:.

Pretty much what I thought, as well. Steer wrestler....

Although I bet Cody could throw a bull if he put his mind to it!

The avatar was assigned to me when I signed up.

The user name is my name. First name, last initial. Original, right?

Well we have a bunch of new members and I've always liked this thread so I'm bumping it to the top!

Would love to see some more answers from folks who haven't posted here yet.

Well my forum name... is my name. Inspired, innit?

The avatar is from my last trip to Scotland and was my first beast taken with one of my homeloads. Not much more to it than that really.

Everyone should know my avatar picture. I used it because it’s my favorite picture, and I will never get tired of seeing it. My name is my real name, because I was careless when I signed up. My nickname would have been Stumpy, for this reason.

User name 3 initials and last name. Photo is my 1955 Ford F100 truck.

have no problems with my name,so i use it,pic is of my elephant,my favorite trophy.

My avatar is a photo of of me and my first wildebeest.

My user name comes from my location: Northeast Tennessee, along the Ridges of the Appalachian Mountains... although originally derogatory in nature...it has become a proud heritage. To which I have no claim to.....BUT AM DAMN proud to associate myself with!!!.

AFTER ALL THE FIRST WESTERNERS came across the Eastern Divide....The Appalachians (Mountains)!!!;):)(y)

Let me know if you'd like to exchange those names.

The Webley-Government revolver is one of my favorite designs and was used on the silver screen by a particular film adaptation's portrayal of Allan Quatermain (and by Indiana Jones). "Webley-Green(e)" is an oft-used incorrect name for the gun, and .455 Webley/Eley is of course the calibre it's chambered for.

I don't have an avatar yet but I've been looking for a good one.

Avatar is what you see--me. Username came from when I bought my Win 70 Safari Express 375 H&H. It was my first big(ger) bore, hence Newboomer.

There was some discussion about avatars and I got to wondering how some of you chose yours; is there a story behind the avatar and user name?

My avatar is a picture my son took when we were moose hunting north of Thunder Bay in Canada. For me, it is a great representation of being outdoors and hunting. It is also special because my son took it and it reminds me of that trip.

I had a hard time thinking of a user name. I just decided to use my name because I will stand behind my opinions.

Is anyone else interested in telling the story behind their identity?
My avatar was given to me on April fools day, quite a few years ago. Brickburn would be the fine gentleman that gave it too me. My handle is based off of the 35whelen.

I like it Gizmo.

I have always loved your Avatar , I have never worked out if you are enjoying yourself or totally terrified of the cats . Your face reveals little like a pro poker player .
Cheers Dory .

Avatar is of the first bull l took with my ..340, and l think the picture turned out .
As for the name, l messed up. I actually wanted it to be something else, but it works

My avatar is simply the most recent photo of my son and I on our Alaska trip last year. Caribou had always been his dream.
User name is simply mine as it just happened while half asleep and my phone filled in the blanks. Lol I believe your permanent once started.

This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.
