Don’t think I will be getting an electric car anytime soon.

Another little hidden gem is that they have no trade-in value because of this very issue. You drive your whatever for 60k miles and want to trade it for a new electric wonder. Except it has an estimated battery life of 70-100k. The dealership offers you twelve dollars because no one will buy the thing with this hanging over their heads a year into ownership.

Trump's response today following the redacted release of the affidavit used to authorize the search of Mar Largo. I have no doubt he wrote it himself because it reads like it was written by a twelve-year-old.

"Judge Bruce Reinhart should NEVER have allowed the Break-In of my home. He recused himself two months ago from one of my cases based on his animosity and hatred of your favorite President, me," Trump wrote on his Truth social account. "What changed? Why hasn’t he recused himself on this case? Obama must be very proud of him right now!

He may indeed have a couple of valid points. Indeed, I think he does have a case to make with respect to Presidential latitude with regard to declassification. Simply state those points and arguments clearly and intelligently rather than braying like a school boy trying to rally his posse.

Because President Trump spent his life dealing with regulators, organized crime et al he developed a reaction of meeting an adversary at their level- and so it is with this- the DOJ/FBI are pushing their weight around just like the elementary school bullies that they are.

What, no core charge? Bastards…

I find it interesting that 18 year olds are considered adult and trustworthy enough to vote but not to purchase and carry firearms. Remember, a push to allow 16 year-olds to vote was being made not so long ago.
And guess who makes up a sizable proportion of our military forces. 18-21 year olds. If they can fight in combat, they are damn well capable of carrying a firearm safely anywhere.

Not only will there be a zero value for the EV trade-in, wait till they hit you with a multi-thousand dollar end of vehicle life recycling fee to cover the costs involved of dealing with the toxic metals etc in the battery system.

I think Trump‘s difficulty in keeping good people in his cabinet and other key positions is a good indicator of the type of leader he is. They were people he chose to be on his team. He didn’t inherit them from Obama. Jeff Sessions, Mike Pompeo, Gen. Matis. He chose good people (with Bannon as a notable exception) and ran them off. Don’t like them? We’ll Trump did. So if you think they were swamp dwellers, then Trump is a lousy judge of character. Either way, he caused chaos throughout his tenure.

Unlike the current administration whose people are sticking like lampreys.

@Ray B : "It wasn't Trump that displayed spoiled brat behavior. He was responding in self-defense..."

Yes Ray, he did. Repeatedly. Over and over. That is my issue with him. His policies worked. But he always chose to not take the high road, to display even just a smidgen of civility. Responding in self-defense? He responded like a butt-hurt kindergartener. He needed to be the adult in the room. Yes, the other side was acting like that too, but I didn't vote for them.

I voted for him - twice. Like @Red Leg and others, that second vote.... I was holding my nose as I did. What I told people was I was actually voting for Pence, who did know how to act like an adult.

Things were good under his administration. He clearly did some very right things. He just as clearly didn't always act like a Commander in Chief should act, IMHO. Maybe I want too much but I want it all, or at least more: someone who gets things done and does it without acting petulant all the time. I really hope a candidate (DeSantis seems most likely) emerges that offers the potential for more.
Trump was a performer, not a poser. We have lots of professional posers who are incompetent to run the country. They got elected some how...but what good does it do to look good if you can't perform?

as an Australian it does affect me who is in the Whitehouse
or so l have learnt over time, lets go Brandon
l myself would not give a flying fark about the way the president acted up as long as he was doing his job, l can see past the personality, in fact from what l have seen he was mostly retaliating or bluntly telling the truth calling out BS, eg... Fake news or Russian collusion
Trump had the cabal going after him from the start and IMHO he did well considering
the people l have met who hate Mr Trump usually repeat BS they have heard in their echo chamber and just hate LOL, its quite funny really

think about it, do you like what Obuma did or what Brandon is doing?
is is about what is done or how they do it
in Obuma's reign l saw streets of homes being bulldozed, with Trump l saw them being built
the current American administration gave more to the Taliban than it has done for you
but you are paying for it

if you dont want the Don send him over to us, PLEASE

No argument with that assessment. But what good is it to be a competent performer if your behavior and lack of self awareness keeps you from performing as well as you could have? This could have been both different and better, IMHO.

That nails it! I have tested exactly that assumption with various people who are Trump haters- from Republicans to Rinos to Democrats, old and young, to Independents to cantaloupes without brains... and all test and answer the same. Almost none have actually read first hand a Trump tweet but all parrot, "he shouldn't post mean tweets". Similarly many said they don't like the way Trump lies, but again seemingly just parroting the MSM repeated white noise drone (IMO a type of brainwashing). I have asked these folks the same question repeatedly, "give me an example of the Trump lies" or "give me a single example of a Trump lie". So far none, Zero, nada have been able to. When really pressed all they come up with is, "he just does".

All very maddening to me and sad :( November '22 is coming and '24 is coming soon after. As the patrol sergeant said to banished Jar Jar Binks when he returned to Gungan City on Naboo, "yousa in deep doo doo dis time" applies to our country if the swamp corruption, top to bottom, is not cut out and gotten rid of beginning Nov '22/Jan '23 then continued Nov '24/Jan '25.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
