If anyone hasn't read his books, or watched Thomas Sowell on You Tube, you should. Down to earth common sense from an exceptionally intelligent person. He also served as a US Marine in the Korean War.

Oh stop it. - You know as well as I do that this is a false equivalency. The arrows reflect two of our areas of national interests. We fortunately have a military capable of dealing with both (throw in the Pacific and Middle East and things start to become complicated). But the Army is a poor choice for one. Sure, if the plan is to shoot the swarms crossing the border, we have the means already positioned to do it with the National Guard. A single MLRS strike into one of the gathering areas south of Del Rio would put an end to border crossing for a generation. Of course it would be a war crime of epic proportion. Infantrymen also aren’t very good options for that whole arrest thing either.

As our former President demonstrated, closing the southern border is a function of political will. Regrettably we have a feckless old man in the White House being used by every radical (the border) or incompetent (Europe) in his administration.

Bring in the means to shoot them all down and you have DED (don't even dare), because if the target country shoots your's all down you are now totally at their mercy. I've wondered such things but the bottom line being that no country is going to brag about their secret capabilities offensively or defensibly. Once it becomes known things shift until a counterbalance appears. Reagan's starwars threat offered a reason to negotiate. Space Cowboys anybody?
As I recall during Reagan Russia developed a laser that was used to 'paint' some satellites. Either they are now shielded from such or that was propaganda of the day.

I have seen that video footage (Biden/Obama) a half dozen times on various news shows. Frankly, it gets harder to watch every time I see it. I did not like Biden before, but it's hard to have a genuine dislike or disrespect of someone when they're clearly not mentally competent; I actually hurt for him when I see this. I cannot imagine his wife has any real love for him, if she allows this to happen. What angers me to no living end is the people propping him and playing pretend. They deserve a special kind of punishment for the indignities and embarrassment they have brought to Joe Biden as a person and the office of the President.

Im pretty much in the same place...

I have never been a Biden fan.. since his early senate days I have always thought very poorly of both his politics and his personal character..

but.. that said.. I am absolutely convinced that the man we once knew as Joe Biden is no longer present in the body of the person we are seeing in that video.. at best maybe 10-20% of the old Joe is left..

The fact that other people, to include the people that should love and care for him the most (his wife and other family members) would subject him, and the American people to whats going on right now is a travesty of all that is supposed to separate humans from the rest of the animal kingdom..

Hmmm... Food for thought?

This whole “living wage” is a sham brought on by socialist and even European socialist that doesn’t work for two of many reasons. First, all these pay raises make everything more expensive which counters the pay raise and makes it meaningless.

Second, pay raises for jobs that are not and should not ever be seen as your “career” job remove incentive to work hard and be promoted to a real career type of job in which a person does earn a living wage. Should a restaurant dishwasher job be a job we should all strive for and be satisfied with? No, work hard so you can be moved to a different and better job! This is all just socialist crap that fails in the end,

If so, they could then run his majesty for a third term. If not they could pull a gov Wallace and run Miss Shale. That would burn Queen Hillary!!

Perhaps I'm not getting your point. But consecutive or not, doesn't the following prevent a 3rd term:

"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice...."

This will never happen. It is very hard to change constitutional amendments or create new amendments. It would require a 2/3 vote of the states.
