That is a very real problem that the Republican party needs to figure out how to address. I suspect that you can add Texas to North Carolina and Georgia in the not too distant future. In the past, in a county election map of Texas the only blue county in Central Texas was Travis, where Austin is. Now Hays and Williamson, where I live, are blue. Williamson was once one of the most conservative counties in the state. A most concerning trend.

And honestly, I don't yet know if fraud played a role, or not. It's silly however; that the possibility is even in the equation. That possibility needs to be removed so we can focus on what's important as a country.

Not sure this fits the bill, but PragerU is an interesting website with a lot of good content. They do however have a really creepy commercial that airs on Fox News. All the people appear almost zombie like.

Now it is true these are hypothetical maps and there are limitations on the effectiveness of such predictions as your last election and this one have shown. Obviously it would be ideal if we could get this information based off of how people actually voted. However assuming these maps have some truth to them it would appear that the Republican party and in particular Trump are very unpopular with non-white voters. This is surprising given that the 2 biggest non-white groups in America- Hispanics and Blacks tend to be religious and socially conservative- their values are more in line with Republicans. But they seem to overwhelming vote Democrat. Given that the % of America's population that is white is declining, the future seems to bode very Democrat and blue unless this issue is addressed.

A couple of points so that it is not all doom and gloom. Republicans will keep the Senate and gained in the house. In fact not a single incumbent republican lost in the house. Republicans did an amazing get out the vote, Trump has exceeded Hilary's total.

Also, look at New York state, many more counties turned Red and that gap is starting to narrow and is probably where Texas was 4 to 8 years ago.

Trump is setting up the Republican party to win the Hispanic vote (assuming republicans don't screw this up) - see Miami Dade and Texas border counties. Trump for all the racist BS, did 2.5x better than Romney with the African America vote.

You are pointing out a very real issue in American politics. The Democrat party has successfully morphed from a post-Great Depression "workers party" to one made up of various grievance groups. Based on the racial numbers you are seeing, that seemed a smart strategy. The problem with that strategy is several fold, and has been exposed during the last two cycles.

First American blue-color workers may be a smaller set of the population, but they still vote. And many minorities view worker issues more importantly than racial ones. Trump broke through to that group. Secondly, though it has taken longer than many other ethnic or national immigrant groups (mainly due to the dual language issue), Hispanics are indeed accelerating their assimilation into the broader traditional "American" culture. Most believe in God, hard work, and family. More and more are waking up to discover they are actually conservatives. Asians, though often liberal due to their geographic locations, also make a lousy grievance group over time. You will be hard pressed to find them any more likely than Hispanics raising black flags in support of the BLM or Antifa mobs. On the other hand, you will find many Asians graduating from engineering and medical schools across the country.

If the Democrats aren't careful, and if Republicans, post Trump, can maintain a populist, love of country open tent, they will be left with only their young white socialist cohorts and the mob wanting to break things and get more free stuff. I can't see that as an enduring political strategy.

Living in Oregon.... It is quite a sad story. It's a beautiful state that has some decent hunting and a rural way of life in over 2/3 of the geographical area. However the place has gone to pot literally. The stench of marijuana and hemp is nauseating in September and October. The liberal shift started 30 years ago or more and now you can count on a 60 Dem to 40 Republican split on all statewide races. I checked and the dems retained their supermajority in the state house and senate. We can expect more B S to be shoved down our throats in the next two years.

Fortunately it appears that the GOP will keep the US Senate and picked up many seats in the House. If Biden/Harris does come out the victor (still hope it doesn’t happen), they will be basically a lame duck presidency and the House will go to the GOP in 2022 and a Republican will win back the presidency in 2024.
