There has to be a better way. We can put a man on the moon, send an unmanned robot to Mars. But we can't count votes, or prevent fraud. Sickening.

Right there with you on Highway 29. It has shaded blue just in the seven years we have been here.I suspect that you can add Texas to North Carolina and Georgia in the not too distant future. In the past, in a county election map of Texas the only blue county in Central Texas was Travis, where Austin is. Now Hays and Williamson, where I live, are blue. Williamson was once one of the most conservative counties in the state. A most concerning trend.
We can complain about presumed fraud all we want, but we have a far bigger problem in this country.
We need to be honest, that half our fellow citizens support the eviction of the bad orange man if not the election of Biden. That is a very real problem that the Republican party needs to figure out how to address. Setting aside the informed committed Marxists, fully half of our electorate has been successfully propagandized by the MSM and social media. Goebbels' famous quote is even more applicable today than it was nearly 80 years ago.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
Today, the "Lie" is the "Story." Whether it is the evil racist in the White House, our impending doom through Covid, or pending extinction through climate change, half of our fellow travelers are swallowing it without the least skepticism because alternative opinion and facts are censored in the name of the latest story.
We desperately need some original thought on how to shatter this monopoly on information.
Every election, we watch the slow metastization of the color blue ever farther across the electoral map. In just the last few decades Arizona, New Mexico, Virginia and Colorado became blue. Does anyone doubt that North Carolina or Georgia aren't right behind.
Somehow, the monopoly on information has to be broken - not by merely offering alternatives on the web, but by breaking through the MSM and social media monopolies on "facts." Otherwise, we will all too soon be completely subsumed by collective thought and behaviour.

You are pointing out a very real issue in American politics. The Democrat party has successfully morphed from a post-Great Depression "workers party" to one made up of various grievance groups. Based on the racial numbers you are seeing, that seemed a smart strategy. The problem with that strategy is several fold, and has been exposed during the last two cycles.I would agree with you, but I also think the shift towards the democrats is caused by America's changing racial demographics. Look at these maps: https://brilliantmaps.com/if-only-x-voted/
Now it is true these are hypothetical maps and there are limitations on the effectiveness of such predictions as your last election and this one have shown. Obviously it would be ideal if we could get this information based off of how people actually voted. However assuming these maps have some truth to them it would appear that the Republican party and in particular Trump are very unpopular with non-white voters. This is surprising given that the 2 biggest non-white groups in America- Hispanics and Blacks tend to be religious and socially conservative- their values are more in line with Republicans. But they seem to overwhelming vote Democrat. Given that the % of America's population that is white is declining, the future seems to bode very Democrat and blue unless this issue is addressed.
No, because of demographic changes and fraud, we've seen the last Republican president, ever.I’ve had to unfortunately repeat this quote by William Durant several times over the past few years but rings very true:
“No great civilization has been conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within”.
Fortunately it appears that the GOP will keep the US Senate and picked up many seats in the House. If Biden/Harris does come out the victor (still hope it doesn’t happen), they will be basically a lame duck presidency and the House will go to the GOP in 2022 and a Republican will win back the presidency in 2024.
If you really want to immigrate to Canada, it would help if you converted to Islam and had a sex change.I'm ready to leave the country but where to go? Canada, Australia, and New Zealand won't allow retirees in unless (maybe) you are rich.
