Crooks had two extra magazines with him and a remote to detonate explosives in his car. Crooks flew a drone over the area a few hours beforehand.

I listed the timeline facts as reported and also that roof should have been occupied or under direct surveillance. Heads rolling would have nothing to do with politics, just operations.

This is definitely very inconvenient for USSS, seen in various footages of this event, which USSS will have to address to.
Mind, even the best of the best, can slip, or trip, or miss the holster in stressful unpredicted situation and it does not mean lack of competence solely by that fact.
So, I think that standard of individual training will have to be judged by different set of evidences or proofs during forthcoming investigation. I am also certain it will be judged by close scrutiny

Anyway, to wait for Trump to turn his head, while in a less than perfect shooting position, at 130+ yards, armed with an economy grade red dot sighted AR-15 with gosh knows what ammo, and to hit a target area of approximately 1/2" lateral area without missing the ear and putting a hole through Trump's head, ridiculous. Just plain ridiculous for even a champion marksman and a thousand times more so for a cheese dick looser like that kid.
