Sure. There's a limit albeit subjective. I thought I provided several excellent examples that exceed my personal limits for the level of immorality I am willing to tolerate from my POTUS in my earlier post.

If we are setting a morality bar as a pre-qualification for the US Presidency to exclude based on promiscuity, it think it's safe to say we would have eliminated at least half of the previous 44. Likely more than that.
Promiscuity does not bother me as much as the open admission of sexual assault, long history of accusations of sexual impropriety, and derogatory comments about women. Not to mention documented financial misconduct. Innocent until proven guilty? Of course, though he was found to have illegally misused charitable funds for personal gain. That is in addition to a slew of campaign finance violations. To me, these actions point to a degree of moral destitution I have not seen in another modern POTUS. More to your point, I am not arguing for personal purity as a prerequisite to hold office, but how do I conscionably elevate a person of unquestionably unscrupulous character to the highest position in the world?

What is your personal limit for immorality in a president? Or is there a limit?

I guess Wilson, FDR, JFK and Clinton must have really nauseated you- but then these activities were while they were president- not years prior to becoming president. and having a president given to cocaine and homosexual activities really must have turned your stomach.

but how do I conscionably elevate a person of unquestionably unscrupulous character to the highest position in the world?

Quite simply because he (Trump) is the only individual currently willing and capable of keeping this Republic from eroding into a lawless, borderless, 3rd-world shithole governed by anarchists, terrorists, communists, part-time bar tenders, and all-around ass-clowns in general, that lack the competence to posses a driver's license let alone govern what is, at least for now, the most powerful nation on the planet. Given what we have seen occur in regard to the rule of law in the last few months, this nation requires a Trump in the next 4 years exponentially more desperately than we did in the previous 4.

I swear to God, I just don't understand how you fail to grasp this very basic concept?

Can you provide specific links to sources (not CNN, Huff Post, NBC, MSNBC or other liberal hacks) that spell out these alleged acts?

This is an extremely valid point and in 2016 I was on your side. I voted for Trump despite knowing about his sexual and financial improprieties at the time because I was hoping to counter the rise of the far left and because Trump looked like he could offer real change to the global China dynamic. As you can tell, I regret my decision. We differ in our belief as to the extent to which the far left will be able to enact change under a Biden presidency compared to a Trump presidency. We also differ over whether Trump is really necessary. Could a different candidate carry out the same agenda as Trump, only more effectively and without the moral repugnance?

Can you provide specific links to sources (not CNN, Huff Post, NBC, MSNBC or other liberal hacks) that spell out these alleged acts?
To which alleged acts are you referring? His open admission of sexual assault, long history of accusations of sexual impropriety, derogatory comments about women, or financial misconduct?

The New York attorney general, is filing a lawsuit against the NRA to try and dissolve it.

The lawsuit is obviously politically motivated. That does not mean that it is not justified. I do not want to see the NRA go, but I do want to see it massively reformed.

Ed Buck is indicted by a Federal GJ. They say prison's aren't nice to sexual predators. Who could he flip on for a lighter deal. Wonder how nervous Shifty is getting.

China is a big threat but to be honest our own politicians are our biggest threat.other countries are just sitting back watching like a lion over its prey waiting for the right moment
Appreciate your honesty. I agree with you that China is the biggest threat we face today.

What I find most morally repugnant is mass murder, of which the communists are the current champs at over 110 million civilians and counting, (and, since we don't have statlstics on muslim historic atrocities). Anyone who votes in the directions of socialism is defacto voting for oppressive leaders down the line. I don't want my country trashed like Venezuela in the next ten years. I have grandchildren to think of....

The only one that would provide equity to a debate with Biden would be if they had Biden debate Biden.

What Trump has done about Covid??

I guess you don't like that he left the control in the hands of the governors.
No they passed the buck on Covid19 all the way down to the county commissioners and mayor's in a lot of states. I quess it truly flows downhill.

Oldie but the thought is still relevant.

Its federal charges. He will be in Club Fed, not a State Prison. While he does face some State charges, the State usually defers to the Fed's as their time is day for day (but not sure what CA does on a high profile case), with no good time credit (some exceptions).

+1

Wayne LaPierre and the NRA's Board of Directors are not worth the salaries they receive. Even if their salaries were cut in half they would still be getting over paid.

NRA members' monies should be going toward more important projects and programs, And Not for elected positions multi million dollar salaries and run away expense accounts!

What's worse is the NRA, that is NRA's executive leadership wants/pushes, local gun clubs to get their members to join the NRA, yet none of the NRA membership money raised by local clubs, comes back to support and improve the local clubs.

Hello Doug,
I am Philippe from France and plan to go hunting Caprivi in 2026, Oct.
I have read on AH you had some time in Vic Falls after hunting. May I ask you with whom you have planned / organized the Chobe NP tour and the different visits. (with my GF we will have 4 days and 3 nights there)
Thank in advance, I will appreciate your response.
Merci
Philippe

Hi Walden. Good morning from England, Chris here (The Englishman!) from Croatia. Firstly it was a pleasure to meet you and Michelle - a fellow Sanderson! I have finally joined AH as I enjoy it very much. Glad you enjoyed the hunt and your write up which I read on AR was very good indeed. I am sending on WhatsApp pics from Bojan of some of the animals hunted recently. Take care and best regards. CS.
