Christie is an obnoxious Trump hating moron and has nothing else going for him beside he hates Trump. I would vote for RFK Jr before I voted for the retarded fatass!

I don't know very much about Christie. One thing I do know is Christie was the head of Trump's presidential transition team. Trump didn't want a transition team, even though it was legally required. A really good read on this subject is the 2018 book by Michael Lewis, "The Fifth Risk." Lewis is an excellent author and a number of best sellers like Moneyball and The Blind Side. So Christie actually was trying to help Trump and the Republican party be successful. Being an insider, I think Christie saw firsthand what Trump was really like and grew to dislike him. As have many of us.

Anyway Christie speaks and he shared a lot about how his time working with Trump. It gives a lot of great insight into his beliefs.

I really like Vivek Ramaswamy but have to agree with you.
I strongly believe he is setting himself up to become Trump's Vice President candidate.

Otherwise, he should be considered for a cabinet position. I think that running in a presidential primary is a quick way to gain recognition for other than President high political positions.

I think Ramaswamy is the Republican Mayor Pete and would get a cabinet position. VP selection will be interesting. Pence was extremely loyal and often sucked up to Trump publicly, and Trump threw him under the bus. VP needs to have influence in the Senate and also balance the ticket. Tim Scott could be an option.

Nope. Ramaswamy is a sharp entrepreneur with very sketchy foreign policy thinking. Nothing in common with Bootygig- Zero. As to Trump-Pence, just the opposite. Complete disloyalty by Pence. If anything Pence threw Trump under the bus. I haven't noticed Pence being indicted for anything during this witch hunt. Wonder why. Pence is largely a nothing burger with no center or conviction. And the polls show it.

With respect to Pence and numerous other senior members of his administration that have earned the ire of Trump supporters, I look at this with a very different understanding of loyalty. Trump obviously obsesses over a form of loyalty that is absolute. It apparently transcends one's own sense of ethics; one's own personal understanding of the truth; and if the news coming out of the document case is accurate, it even seems to include an expectation that his employees commit crimes on his behalf. After all, this is the man who attacked his most effective Press Secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, for committing the egregious offense of quoting what Trump believed were the "wrong" polling numbers when reporting on his lead over Governor Ron DeSantis.

What passes for quality leadership in every endeavor in which I have participated has been a type of loyalty that flows down just as strongly as it flows up. It is a trait with which Trump seems wholly unencumbered.

If Mike Pence "threw Trump under the bus" by holding to his and his advisors' interpretation of the constitution or by refusing to lie on Trump's behalf before a grand jury, then all I can say is thank God for a higher loyalty to the country and The Vice president's oath of office.
