Germany Hunting Pictures

Lovely impressions .
Waidmannsheil to your prey, especially to your boar.
The picture from the Hanoveraner (the dog) ist cool.
To sad, that our both journey on chamois can't be started.
But the time can work for our plans .

Waidmannsdank.

Yes - unfortunate circumstances but we will make something work for another time.

Waidmannsheil Tom! Looks like you had a great hunt! Where were you located at? I was just in Bavaria over the weekend doing some hunting down there.

Waidmannsdank.

I was located about an hour from Dusseldorf. I hope you have a good hunt. We need to meet up if I'm over again.

We do. I'd love to hunt with you. It was a pretty good hunt. Met a lot of guys from all over Germany. We ended up killing 15 geiss and kitz (does and fawns) to help the forester fill his Abschuss (quota).

here is Tinka,a Bayerischer Gebirgsschweißhund (BGS) ,with a 12 years old chamois female.
A friend shot that in Ruhpolding/Bavarian Moutains and his dog is always with him.
Like a tree, chamois get every year a ring on its horns.
I belive its similar with the sheeps.

as long as anyone can remember,no boar was shot in our hunting property .
But this year (middle of January 2017), I shot two of them in one week at night during snowfall (.308 Win. Hornady Interlock 220gr,a bullet to heavy for that caliber ,but it works :) )
What a fantastic start, Im afraid nearly.

Unfortunately, none of them were mine. Missed a beautiful keiler, but it was my first druckjagd and i suppose nerves got the better of me. Do you know the butcher personally? I was honored to be invited on this hunt
wow.
Did you got something ?
Sad to say no.
Darren ,the butcher has a lot of work to do.
Here a really cool guy.
Im good trained in slaughtering my prey, but this standard is absolutely high.
Maybe my problem is,I dont wear sunglasses during this work :)

Waidmannsheil! You're right, it has been cold! Cold enough to keep me in by bed during the full moon hunts ;) Trigger is doing well. He has been with Lisa and Sebastian since early November now. The last i spoke with Lisa she said he has good instinct and training is going well although she was pretty sad when I talked to her after one of her kurzhaars was killed by a boar. How has this season been for you?

it was a big hurt for them to loose this dog-still Kevlar waistcoat;internal bleeding............
It was a fine season for me,thank you for asking, and for you ?
I travelled a lot through the world and had also good hunting at home.
My highlights was the boars at home,a new game in our property now .
A stoneold buffalo and a few really good and old roebucks.
I bring a few pics from them in next time.
This year I have not so much plans, I have to work,I must save money for other adventures.
I go with Basti one week fishing in Norway again,we booked our flights last week.
Norway is an absolute wonderful country. And its near to us.
All the best to you-take care.

one big,big dream I have in my heart.
I got this pic from a bavarian friend, who shot this moose in Kamtschatka with a .378 Weatherby .
What do you say to this hell of a moose bull ?
Kamtschatka, one day,its on the top of my list.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
