AH Get Together In Dallas During Dallas Safari Club (DSC) Convention 2022

You all have fun and sell many hunts.
Since I retired to the East Texas country, I find the Dallas traffic a curse that I can avoid.
I have also committed to hunting in Texas this year, mostly meat hunts as any new trophies have to hang in the courtyard with my last bull elk.

Just an update, I had the Dr office run a PCR test too and that one came back positive. Sent for monoclonal antibodies Wednesday, assuming they have any left and the correct one.
When I had covid I received regeneron monoclonal antibody infusion. It knock it out in two days. Also Pfizer has a pill that suppose to be available in Walmart pharmacy.

Have fun everyone wish I could have made the trip this year.

I have just turned in from a fab night out I went to the little after party with @buck wild and associates. Look forward to it all again

Good luck everyone and be safe, I've been looking forward to DSC all year..... then got covid 3 days before the convention starts!

Hope you get better soon!

Just a great evening once again. Didn't get around to as many people as I wanted, but thank you all for making it another highlight event of the year.

It was nice to see so many of you at DSC. Let’s make next year bigger and better!
Maybe we can also get together in Vegas for SCI.

I talked to a fella yesterday who told me next year's SCI was moving from Vegas to Nashville. Anyone got an info on that? It's not gonna hurt my feelings if it's true, that's only 2HR from my house!
SCI announce it several months ago. The plans were for Nashville for the next 2-3 years. I don't know if it has been confirmed.

Its nice. It used to be really nice but it has grown so much it's starting have a lot of problems with homeless people and gangs and such. Standard issue city problems. Lots of.good restaurants though and a very nice sporting clay range

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
