A comment from the cheap seats (that is, someone who isn't living in the US),
The President seems to have a personality issue - if you take him on, he will hammer back twice as hard, on Twitter, or in some other way. My expectation is that many which he wouldn't do that. However, given the abuse he takes in the media, maybe it's no surprise. I grant there may be a chicken and egg issue here, but can you imagine the outrage if the Republicans went after Hilary's (or any other woman's) hair the way the Democrats and the media go after Trump's hair?
Be that as it may, I suggest we look past the headlines. If it were possible, I would suggest we focus on what is done, rather than what is said. A great deal of excellent work is being done to dismantle the "administrative state." Hunters, in particular, should be happy that many of the less than democratic changes implemented by the previous administration are being repealed. On his last day in office, the head of the USFWS issued a ban on lead bullets. Science be dammed, the donors wanted it, so they got it. I could go on, but I won't.
It will take some time to get power out of the hands of bureaucrats and back to the people, but for the sake of those of us who are not in the US, I hope that the President keeps off Twitter, and the good work gets done. We all need an example to follow.
