I’ve been offered shots up to 275 meters in the Limpopo. In my experience most shots are about 150 meters and those under 100 meters are not that common. What the heck happened to my first attempt at posting this?

My mistake, I have Namibia on the brain because I've been looking for buffalo hunts that are "dry country" and I the word Kalahari with Namibia, which I shouldn't. I just looked at a map and it looks like the country with the most Kalahari is Botswana.

In addition to price, I always consider the travel time and that can vary by what U.S. city you are leaving from. For example Qatar to JNB from Dallas DFW is considerable less time than Qatar to JNB from Houston IAH.

Wouldn't what the OP (I believe) suggested be just backward? For brain shots bullet diameter should be less important than for heart shots? On a body shot, since solids will be used, the larger the diameter of the bullet the better, it seems to me.
