@Brent in Az, sorry to hear of the passing of your uncle. Great smoke to celebrate his life. Long ashes to your uncle.
Some of the cigars I smoked over the weekend, and one in particular I have to celebrate our future victory.
I usually do not smoke flavor cigars, but this ACID Kuba, Kuba was given to me, so I put it to good use one evening. I don't believe I could smoke them on a regular basis, great smoke, but not my cup of tea.

I also had a MF but in La Promesa last night. According to some reviews they tasted leather, oak and wood in this 91 rated cigar. For sure my taste buds are not nearly as refined (possibly completely dead!). Got a bit of some oak I think but was an excellent smoke no doubt and at a reasonable price too. As always the construction and burn were excellent.

I still need to get some of those Southern Draw sticks. Local shop doesn't carry them. Will have to order a 5 pack somewhere.
This past year, Nick Perdomo, went on a marketing campaign, and lots of meet & greets at cigars shops around the country. I think his brand has taken a hit, and he is trying to revitalize it? I'm not big on Perdomo, but there are a couple I really like.I met Nick Perdomo at the MIA Int. Airport. I was going to Nicaragua, and he was goin as well, and had a bunch of vendors w him. Nice guy and down to earth, he gave me a handful of cigars when I told him I was a fan
Several years later we met again at a smoke fest in Homestead FL. By that time he was the Mayor of Miami Springs. His cigars quality & flavor went down hill a couple of years later. Not sure if him being away from the business hurt his business or not.
Perdomos are great cigars, but IMO it’s a hit or miss with them. Glad you enjoyed that smoke.
What did you get in the Save Arthur? Did you write up your hunt?Had a few of these on just ended 7 days in the Save Conservancy, chased down with some Sao Domingo's Aguardente in the cool evenings...View attachment 364752
