Mid teens this morning. Lows of negative teens in a few days. It's going to be freezing our 7" of heavy snow into a solid block. I feel sorry for the deer.

41 degrees in my little part of East Texas this AM. Cold is coming, I hear. I have a buddy in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He told me once that he was going to throw a snow shovel in the back of his truck and start driving south. First time someone saw it and asked what it was, he was gonna move there.

I need to come see the other side of the state.. Lived here for 3yrs now and never been over to Tucson. Hopefully will be heading that way and towards Bisbee the first of the year.

I'm at the same location/same time this morning, and it's 46 degrees.
The coldest temp in the desert valley that I can remember was 17 degrees

We have a den that we hike into just north of Oracle, if you can stand to wear even a long sleeve shirt outside the rattlers will be out of the den. Not very far but they will be out. There have only been a few years that we have hiked into it where there was no sign of them. One year it looked like it had been abandoned only to hike into it the next year and find them again.

Lowcountry of South Carolina is supposed to be 17F with a windchill of 5 degrees F on Christmas Eve. High temp is expected to be 33F. Cold for the boys in the South.

This is what I had to face this morning when I left the house. I think that translates to -25 or -26 in Fahrenheit. With the windchill it felt like -45!
