Well boys, what's your temperature like now?

Here in central TN the realfeel is 30°, back home in ND it currently -45 with some areas expected to see -65°.
Please keep that out west there! I've seen the actual temps as low as -42°F
Things don't work very well at those kinda temps, including me!!

.. Currently here in the house it's a balmy 83°F....and climbing. Yet every time I read a new thread here I'm inclined to put another log or 2 on the fire and increase my proof of whiskey, which has gone from 45% to 80%. The only liquor on hand with a higher percentage of alcohol is Everclear at 99%.

Gotta keep the all of the plumbing from freezing.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

30 here in Dallas. Perfectly fine for the show

25 in Parker, Colorado but dropping fast. Single digits for the next couple days. Where's Al Gore and that Swedish kid with their "global warming" shtick?
They're in the Bahamas!

Yup!

Perfect icefishing temps...and a bottle of peach schnapps of course.

Update: -34 C, -45 with the windchill, beautiful clear blue skies, Just got in from feeding the cows and thawing and chipping ice out of stock waterers. Forecast for tonight is -45 C with a winchill of -51 C. Its a NSSS day, Nipple Stiffening Scrotum Shrinking kind of day.
Yep. These temps definitely make taking a leak outside a challenge!!!

Was 13f when I left the house for work.

12F here now at 713 pm, likely be 10 or less by morning. Record territory again.

One of my old Cabelas co-workers moved to Helena, MT a couple years ago and loves it there. I think his brain has frozen.

...and suddenly one realizes one shouldn't have drank so much beer.

Taking a leak outside is no challenge. Just keep the wind at the back and if possible a tree to the front. The ultimate challenge is having to drop trousers.

The one silver lining to these cold temps is that you can leave your beer in their box in the garage and no need to refrigerate it. Sometimes. Last year with -16 here, my step daughter left her soda, beer and wine in their FRIG in their garage and it all blew up.

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
