U.S Election reactions

Seems like the World Market takes a nose dive every USA election year, no matter which crook or corrupt party wins each Presidential election in this country.
................

It is just a bunch of gamblers (traders) playing a game. Another day another nickel.

The President is one guy.
There seems to be another group of folks running around on some hill drafting stuff and holding hostages. At least thats what I heard. Maybe its a rumour.

It is great watching the liberals meltdown and cry. They are in their safe spaces with their coloring books today.
For some reason, they think that the gays and POC's (a term I despise) are gonna either be thrown in straight camps or deported. The president doesn't have that power you idiots

@BRICKBURN and our other canadians I saw the Canadian immigration website crashed due to traffic last night.... good luck with the idiots if they make it through

Come on up, buy a house (pay the 15% tax on foreign ownership in BC) have a nice visit and after the feared collapse of the universe does not happen and the first cold winter hits, they will head right back to sunny southern California.

You can't beat the winters in California.

Interesting that after the overnight panic the U.S. markets are basically flat today.

I looked at the Dollar and it swung up and down $.01 in the day. I have seen more movement caused by an Orange crop failure.

From the staff here at Top of Texas Taxidermy and the Rockin G Ranch, it's a great day and God Bless America!!!!!

The US market is now actually up, however I noticed Smith & Wesson and Ruger are down about 12%. Fear of Obama/Hillary outlawing or seizing guns or going after the 2nd amendment drove a lot of gun sales the last 8 years.

As far as a Trump presidency, I hope he does well but I am skeptical. Time will tell.

Hard to believe, but she was singing in the rust belt!

She sang all over the country.

Fellow Americans,
Do not let your guard down. I've warned on AH before the antis have a documented strategy of picking us off state by state.
Some bad amendments got passed last night - like Nevada, 100% background checks now.
"So buying your neighbors 22 for your son" - go to an FFL.

This article summarizes it:

Boys, freedom isn't free.
So be on guard and stay informed. That bunch is not giving up.

Our founders documented our freedoms.
The 2nd Amendment insures them.

To add to this point.

does anyone really believe that the blue collar worker in the rust belt really would have voted for the republican establishment? I don't. and I think that was the difference in the election.

Absolutely true!

Thanks for the insight @firehuntfish

Just my opinion of the way I saw things unfolding, and it reflects my personal take as one of those Americans...

There are lots of smart folks here that may have an additional perspective to add....

I for one, would not wish our angry bed wetters, wealthy, screeching movie stars and lay-abouts, on our Canadian brothers and sisters.
If our home-grown Soviet Socialists want to leave the USA (unfortunately this will prove to be just another broken promise from them), I will help them pack and chip in to help them buy a one way ticket.
But it would be best if they did not pollute our next door neighbor's space, I rather like most of the numerous Canadians I have met.
Not sure where our weeping rif-raf should go but, some place far away from here would be best (Saturn comes to mind).

I got an idea, how bout hell they can go there!

I think she might have considered retirement if the election had turned out differently..

she will cling to her seat on the court until her last breath now..

Ruth Ginsburg is on the list of people who threatened to leave the USA if Trump won. Think she will follow thru? .

The lady has had cancer twice and is frail. She may hang on for as long as she can. I don't think she will be heading to Canada any time soon.

The fat cats, and global elite, are crapping in their shorts. The market will stabilize.

This is one big step towards cleaning up the political cesspool.

The American voters have spoken!
Didn't take long to stabilize!
