If we could choose where we were to be born, I would've selected Wyoming or Rhodesia or many places except California.
However, that not being an option, I was born in Los Angeles and lived in CA until my late 20's, at which time I escaped to Alaska ("and he lived happily ever after").
Unfortunately, we Americans will remain stuck with the golden state.
1. There are more Capitalists (Trump voters) in Calif. than the Socialists (Billary voters) can imagine.
Her ilk are evidently still wallowing in denial.
2. Seceding from the USA will not fly because of that plus the Feds can't loose the recourses there so, they'd figure out how to foil it.
3. But if it did secede, in the chaos that folowed, their cities would be over-run by Mexico, Guatemala, India, Pakistan, and tens of thousands of USA grown nuts from our other state's populations.
(We even have a few in Alaska that'd hopefully go there).
4. Then their new country would go broke over night.
It has gone broke before, even with Federal subsidies.
Socialism only works as long as there is enough of the workers money to take.
When many of those working people flee (to Alaska for instance) who's money will they have to pay for all their "free" sheet ?
