Trophy - The Film

Wear some camo to break up your outline. Should help a little[emoji41]

Hey, you are going to be in TEXAS. It won't be like you are at a presser in Berkeley.

Is Austin in Texas?

Someone should probably tell the Austinites...

Most of them think they live in a suburb of Boulder or San Francisco... [emoji16]

Pretty courageous move Mr Glass!
I feel so good knowing, after one trip to Africa, that I'm a "wealthy" man living in a 2,400 square foot "McMansion". I feel so much better about my finances now. Guess it's all relative.
Thanks for sharing this! Looking forward to seeing it.

Although it is in Austin I hope there are a few hunters there. No certainty of this though. This is a film and music festival that will feature all the weirdos you can imagine. Here's to hoping for the best!

Philip

Trophy will be at SXSW film festival March 11-12 in Austin. This is the next in a series of film festivals it will be in.
The opening in theaters should be in August. I'll keep you updated as info is available.
I will be in Austin for both showings and doing press interviews and Q&A after the film. I'll let you how badly I get shot at!
Regards,
Philip

At SXSW you will be torn a new one. That said, Austin does have its share of Hunting groups, DSC-Austin, Central Texas Wildlife Legacy & SCI Austin.

This is the mentality that you will be dealing with below:

@Philip Glass tell them you're a transgender syrian illegal immigrant that voted for Bernie Sanders. Then they won't know whether to kiss you or kill you for being a hunter!

Thx Philip, trying to make arrangements for the 10th. I will let you know as soon as I hear back, Jerome

Congrats Philip.

Philip,

This is no easy thing you are doing.
I definitely applaud your efforts in this hostile arena that, we all know is the film industry.
Nothing hits a bull's-eye like the glaring truth.

Go get 'em brother,
Velo Dog.

Philip,

Please post how the screening went.

The first screening went very well. The Q&A had all nice questions for us and I was treated very well! We will see how the next screening goes.
Good to see Jerome and Mrs. J there!
Regards
Philip

Glad it went well. Glad you were treated well in the Q&A. Is there going to be a distribution of the film? Look forward to hearing how the next screening goes as well.

Reviews are not posted yet, on Austin 360 or Austin American-Statesman or Austin Chronicle, wait a while. Wish I could have attended.

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
