The start of dakotas lioness mount

Looks like they've captured the head and face just about perfect! Good job!

I believe they did as good as you can with only have one view of the pose. Not having a way to see ever angle from the picture made it tricky I would think but I am happy. I just did not want some block head lioness like so many I see come out of the African shops.

She is almost done.

Wow, that's amazing. I can imagine all kinds of pranks that could played with such a realistic looking mount like that!

Very hard to get the "touch" in the loocking of the big cats......let me tell you.....you did itBill.......a really impressive loocking from her.....!!!!!

Nothing I did but pick the right place to have her mounted. I got very lucky with royal finding that picture as I had failed finding one I liked. But thanks for the nice comment

Thanks to everyone who has commented glad I could share this with everyone.

bloody brilliant
they have definitely delivered on this lioness, billy
when you get her home and open the crate, make sure no one , jumps up and runs away

What a great mount. I knew I wanted a lioness, but now I want one like yesterday. Thank you for posting the photos.
Cheers,
Mike

If I ever get the opportunity to take one. I'm using that pose. Love it.

Love that pose , they did great on the alterations!!

Wow. She looks great. Incredibly lifelike and the chosen pose was captured extremely well.

I do think they did awesome with her. The muscle tone they did is soft but life like and the face is the same.

Thanks for all the nice comments and hope some of you get to hunt one. Hell I want to hunt one now but not sure if I will or not.

Why wouldn't you hunt one?

Trust me not because I don't want one. Kid wants a roan and I am not sure if I want a lion or a buff at this point. Then I would like a sable to plus more of everything else. LOL I have a year yet before I must start really focusing on what I want for sure. After seeing the lioness in the room it may just make up my mind.

Bill, I want it all as well but I chose to hunt a lioness based off the possibility of an import ban. If you want one I would focus on that first before the others.

This honestly is one of those threads I look at every day to see what's new ... I sent the link on to a buddy of mine to get his juices flowing so we can organize a hunt for Lion with our bows ..... CALL ME CRAZY ?

Not crazy at all. hell it is my kids lioness and it has me wanting to hunt right now. I am just glad you are enjoying the thread. If you ever need any info on a lion hunt with paw print let me know. I think I can work you out a good deal if you and your buddy want one. That is if you need a outfitter.

There is still some work to do on her but not much so a few more pictures to come in about a week.

^^^^^I respect that beyond belief Bill! Dakota is a lucky young man to have a father like you. I am lucky as my daughter is only 9 and not ready for the big critters yet so I have time to fill my wish list. Soon she will be and I am all about letting her fill her trophy list (last time I asked what animals she wants the trophy fees added up to about 20K).

Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
