SOUTH AFRICA: Hippopotamus Hunt With Pawprint Safaris 2017

If only my wife was as understanding as you are Charlie.

Shot placement on that one?

My shot.

Jerome I was thinking a couple of inches to the left but I see the path the bullet would take striking the bull at you point of impact and then racking back through the brain right to left.
Dead bull!

Funny thing I just noticed is when I moved my laptop even so slightly the point of impact should actually be adjusted. It really depends on where you sit in relationship to your screen and where the image is located on the screen. When I worked on the shot placement I realize now that I had the image placed a bit to my left which made the shot a bit more to the right. I do agree with you with your assessment of my shot placement. If I'm completely centered with the head of the hippo your placement is correct.

I sure hope your solid is a good one.

Good luck Charlie! Have a blast and I'm envious of the fried hippo lips. They are delicious.

Yip, when we were in the Kalahari our cook was Zimbabwean. They were served as an appetizer either the third or fourth night. The misses wouldn't try it. I was hesitant but it was actually really good. The way they did then was cut them into pieces and fry them. Kinda reminded me of pork skins but with more meat on them. Really good though.

pucker up charlie.good luck, handgun this time???

@edward I am not qualified to use a hand cannon like you. So it will have to be one of those cheap Ruger #1s in 375 H&H.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
