SOUTH AFRICA: Hippopotamus Hunt With Pawprint Safaris 2017

I really like the story and how you kept us going little by little. Sounds like a hell of an adventure and memories to be made. Congrats on it.

Thank you sir. I had a good hunt and I'm looking forward to the next one!

Charlie if you had a twin pipe buddy that hippo would have had it. I've always said that's why we all go hunting it's the chance of it either going to plan or not. That's what keeps me on my toes anyhow

Great read Charlie - thanks for taking us hunting with you!

I'd take your hunt any day, over a quick trip to the pond to pop a hippo.

I especially liked watching you running from that angry bull!

What a great story sir, thank you so much for sharing, oh and making me laugh. Reading about you running away from the p*ssed off Hipo, sounds hysterical after the fact, but I am sure it was all business during that time. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Too bad you couldn't connect, but that is why they call it hunting and not shooting. There is always next time. Good luck to ya, and hope you can make it sooner rather than later. (y)(y)

Thank you both. Hunting is a great joy in my life and sometimes the biggest joy is trying after you fail. There is always next year.

Yes sir, you are absolutely right with your statement.

Another option for the next trip.

Good one Wayne!

I've always wanted to hunt hippo on dry ground, now I want to hunt hippo in an urban environment! Lol. MOUT Safari for all the ex-grunts out there.

@norfolk shooter the two pipe option would have been great but @edward hasn't sent me the double yet.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
