Exclusive: Madison, Wisc. Christian school mass shooter identified

Breaking: I am the first to report that the deceased mass shooter at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisc. is a 15-year-old girl named Natalie Lynn Rupnow.

A teacher and student were killed. Six others were wounded, two with life-threatening injuries. The female shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

She carried out the mass shooting in the school library, according to a source. She did not identify as trans.

The teen girl used the name "Sam" online and the username "crossixir." She had an extensive online obsession with school shooters and death, particularly the 1999 Columbine High School shooting. Rupnow was a big fan of the KMFDM rock band, which was also referenced by one of the Columbine shooters. (She often wore the shirt of the band.)

Rupnow's online friends identified the X account, which purported to belong to the shoot
er, soon after news broke of the shooting. The account's last post is of an "okay" hand symbol in the school's bathroom by the library minutes before the shooting.


A purported "sneak peek" of her manifesto was posted on her Discord account, where she discussed a desire to kill all males in a rant inspired by fringe extremist online culture. A screenshot was posted on X by a person who was her Discord friend. The account also posted a mirror selfie photo of Rupnow.

Rupnow's Cash App account is a picture of the Columbine shooters. She had an account on "Watch People Die" where she commented on the videos. Her Spotify playlists featured themes of s—icide and killings.

Her Tumblr account features content about mass shooters. She also posted images suggesting she got a pistol for her birthday.

yet another example of a mass shooting... where the firearm isnt the problem...

the problem is a person with a known mental health issue has access to a tool (in this case a firearm) that they can kill people with..

we can get rid of all the guns in the world.. people with mental health issues that want to kill other people will simply find other means for doing it... they'll run over people in a crowded parking lot with their cars.. they will create improvised explosive devices out of household goods.. they will jump onto a city bus with a cheap knock off samurai sword... etc..etc..

we either need to start dealing with mental health issues in this country (cutting out all the crap our children are routinely exposed to by the education system would be a strong start).. or simply accept killers are going to keep killing people..

Getting the internet out of the hands of kids would be a darn good start. But God forbid parents tell a kid NO. Giving a kid access to the world and the world access to your kid has never made sense to me. Frankly it's child neglect/abuse. It's also encouraged and enabled by practically everyone but nobody ever takes responsibility for it. They just go after Facebook and Twitter, telling them to protect the children better on social media. I just sit back scratching my head and thinking, "isn't that the parents job? Why are you allowing your kids on social media, chat rooms or forums at all?".

I could go on and on about the damage SM has done to kids and young adults, particularly females. Youth depresssion, suicide, gender confusion. Historically, dressing up as the opposite sex has been predominantly a male issue. No longer true. Now females shooting up schools, committing mass violence and idolizing killers? That's going against the norm as well. All of this is seemingly nothing more than a social contagion happening within the last 20 years. When the most evil among us see $$$ in any of this it compounds the issue. I'm curious to find out if this girl has ever been on antidepressants.

The Australian government passed legislation banning children 16 years and younger from social media. I think it should be law everywhere. Imho it is not necessary for children to have unrestricted access to the entire world.

Exactly. its these universities ruining the fertile minds of our youth. My own daughter and granddaughter being 2 examples.
My daughter graduated Texas university Master of Education and a hater of America . I offered to buy her and her socialist husband, both a one-way ticket to Cuba. They haven't accepted my gracious offer yet.
Granddaughter ,a grad at Sewanee U., a lover of Chinese being taken in by their communist cultural outreach centers on university campuses, .

I'm not clever enough to pinpoint what the problem is but it seems like school mass shooting are happening in this country way more than the others. Something is broken and it has to be fixed and quick!

When it comes to basic practical solutions like arming teachers or having armed security - solutions like people would use to defend their home, soldiers' their forts, and such things - the lefties scream like banshees.

The old saying in aviation is something like "if you're taking flak you're over the target."

That doesn't fix the cultural or societal reasons why kids are becoming crazy, but it fixes (or at least ameliorates) the specific and precipitated outcomes that we're all having to live with far too often.

I'm not clever enough to pinpoint what the problem is but it seems like school mass shooting are happening in this country way more than the others. Something is broken and it has to be fixed and quick!

May I suggest an unbiased ,( non big pharmaceutical funded) study on the use and prescriptions of RETALIN, by school nurses , its tragic, putting little boys on syc meds because they don't sit still in class.

Ritalin is a controlled substance that must be prescribed by a doctor with a DEA approved license; it cannot be prescribed by school nurses. The only time a school nurse would have contact with a controlled substance would be to insure the child is taking their medication as directed by the doctor who prescribed it.

I’m fully for the ban. We don’t allow youth to drink because of the effects on the developing brain. Social media is no different.
I’ve heard people saying it’s just government control and forcing people to give out there ID, but I disagree, it’s about the mental health.
