I haven’t hunted California since the late 90’s but still have friends that live there and hunt and their stories are what nightmares are made of.

I live in CA, never hunted here anything other than varmints, due to a multitude of factors. Heck, the process to get a deer tag alone is so onerous that it is not worth my time.

I hunted deer and bear back when non residents could still hunt bear and the process was pretty easy then but that was back in the 80’s. They put a moratorium on NR bear hunting soon after I got home, not sure if it’s still a regulation or not. The last time I hunted CA. was waterfowl only and a ”collection” trip, brant, harlequin and the 3 scoters. Not sure if I’ll ever hunt there again even though they have a good population of the smaller Canada geese I would like to have.

We used to use a couple of teaspoons of gasoline down holes to flush out rattle snakes, it should work the snakes in Gaza as well but on a much larger scale.

Back in the day of manual chokes driving a car/pick-up over a hole, attaching a hose to the tailpipe and running it into the hole then letting the engine idle with the choke at about 1/4 worked well.

the method for finding all the holes was easier- a 15 minute highway flare ignited and stuck down a hole and the hole sealed with a good sized rock. The smoke from the flare would follow the tunnels and appear where the tunnels surfaced, allowing those holes to be sealed.

Multiple smoke bombs/grenades dispensed at one hole to exit out other holes where more multiple smoke grenades/bombs are then dispensed, repeating this as more and more holes are found, eventually the "critter(s)" either come out in a hurry somewhat disoriented into awaiting multiple traps and/or multiple shooters' works really well.

The nice thing about military colored smoked grenades like red and green leave a stain on the skin that can last for awhile to easily identify cohorts initially missed or lucky to have escaped the wrath.

Multiple flash bangs, concussion, and non lethal grenade and artillery training simulators are also very effective.

Interesting read. I suspect the latter is the most troubling. A brand new New York Times poll hit the streets this morning which adds further interesting context. It will be a fascinating year.

In the first set of stories from the BBC, reporter Nomia Iqbal regarding the death of a candidate before Election Day says, "There are no indications to think that either of them are in poor health."

Excuse me but what planet is she living on? One merely needs to look at Biden as he shuffles along to realize that aging has caught up with him. Add in his mental lapses combined with calling a "lid" or availability to the press early in the day in order to hide him from the press and you have elderly person who is not in the best of health.

Being a "tunnel rat" is not for the weak at heart. I had a former client who was a tunnel rat with the Marines in Vietnam. After doing it for six months, the Marines allowed him to switch to Marine Air in exchange for a six year enlistment. He was glad to do it.

Yes. Newsome would be this country’s worst nightmare. He would regulate and micromanage our economy to a standstill or worse. Californicate blew through $100 BILLION dollars of Covid money just in 2022 for all of their Marxist social programs and at last count, are now $32 BILLION in the hole. Their typical annual budget is $300 BILLION! Newsome has never seen a tax on the remaining middle class working folks that he didn’t like or pass through their Marxist legislature. Our National $33 TRILLION in debt would BALLOON exponentially under Newsome. He needs to go back to San Francisco where he was spawned and deal with their out of control homeless population that he helped create as Mayor. Buffoon Brandon pales in comparison to the damage Newsome would wreak upon this country economically and socially.

The dems will consider the rules still in place. I cannot fathom why election reform has not been pushed, passed, and implemented. We are shooting ourselves in the foot. I have zero confidence it will not all be practiced again in 2024. Of course, why shouldn't they--no one has been charged with wrongdoing, except of course republicans who are largely complaining about it/charged for trying to stop it.

Many Judges in this country are complicit, by refusing to review voter fraud evidence brought before the court, and allowing the cases to move forward.

Some state legislators as well, both chambers in the Alabama legislature have republican super majorities and couldn’t get an anti ballot harvesting bill passed. If I had any hair left I would be pulling it out.
