"Honestly, did you feel closer to a war of Superpowers during Trump, or Biden."

Um, for me... they almost feel neck and neck, for different reasons.

I just do not believe that today's Trump is the same one we had during his term in office. I think he is less in touch with reality, even more narcissistic than before, and the the thought he might do something really bad - globally - founded on his own hubris/vanity seems plausible.

No, they both scare me. There isn't a winning answer here, IMHO.
Please articulate the details describing how everything is about the same now, in both the US and the world, as compared to three years ago.

Plus turn the civil service back into a 19th century political spoils system.
Wouldn't keeping things the same mean that the left will run the civil service (weaponize it, too?) forever with never a conservative turn at bat?

Please read my post. Yes, things are worse. What I said was Trump isn't the same as he was then. This version of him? NoPe. I don't like either choice. Perpetual optimist that I am, I am still hoping for what's behind curtain #3.

Nail on the head, @Tundra Tiger

They Both scare the shit out of me.

Israel's area of operations are expanding. The tunnels Hamas thought were their strategic advantage may be their tombs. Hamas needs the west to push the ceasefire to survive in the northeastern area of the strip. .

To be clear, you did say "neck and neck", i.e. similar, but in regards to Trump, I think you're correct, Trump is not the same man. I have seen lawsuits ruin people over the dumbest disagreements, but never in my life have I seen one person take so much from so many angles. I think he's a ruined man.

I never really liked what I call Trump's "Little Caesar's" speeches (I am the extra most bestest pizza.....), but I did really enjoy this one. It's one example that makes me remember why I tolerated him.

My first trip to Africa was to Namibia, and a good friend and excellent PH, Boet Nel and I were drinking around a fire one night. He mentioned he had been to an SCI banquet and couldn't believe that at the dinner/auction when the US flag was brought in and the National Anthem was sung, there were tears in the eyes of all those in attendance. He didn't have a word for that in Afrikaans, and I told him it was National Pride, to which he agreed. He said he felt sorry for anyone that would F**k with the US. It concerns me that we're losing this sentiment like a cancer growing on our soul.

And personally, I am scared to death about curtain #3.....

Exactly. Netanyahu needs to be ready to sacrifice his government to exterminate these vermin.

Wonder how many access points in and out of the tunnels there are..

@Wathe208 ... Yes, neck and neck NOW. Was it better when Trump was in office? Yes. Which makes me feel safer now? Um, what are my other choices? ;)

Are tunnels turning into a death trap for Hamas? The vast tunnel network in Gaza was built to protect the Hamas terror army & leadership. But as Israeli forces move deeper into Gaza, Hamas is facing some problems…

Problem 1: You can seal off tunnels or pour things into them: Water, cement, gas, explosives… you can send in robots... but it doesn’t work the other way around. Terrorists inside a tunnel have limited options for targeting those outside…

Problem 2: Contact with the outside world is limited. Messages are often delivered in person by messengers. Communicating & getting info about what’s happening outside can be tricky if your enemy controls the area above…

Bottom line: Tunnels are ideal when the enemy is away. They will protect you from airstrikes & limited raids. But with the IDF deep inside Gaza, the dynamic changes. Difficult battles are still coming up, but the Hamas tunnel network is starting to crumble.

Back on the farm, so many years ago, the rats had tunnels. They would come out and eat the chicken feed, and steal eggs.

Pouring diesel fuel down the tunnels worked great.

Just say'n.....

I don't know but there have to be plenty of pop up holes.

Supposedly there are 300 miles of tunnels in the strip.

The IDF has trash bags that contain two chemicals that are separated. Break the seal allowing the chemicals to mix and they expand like foam insulation, forming a concrete hard barrier sealing the tunnel. That way they can seal off tunnel branches to keep Hamas from coming in behind them, or just sealing Hamas in a dead end tomb. The IDF can come back later to open and search the branches if they want.

The Hamas soldiers and leaders are in a world of hurt.

Give Israel credit. They learned and adapted well.

In Idaho we get voles on the farms. You hire a permitted exterminator, he comes out, leaks acetylene into the tunnels and after a while, lights a match and boom, no more voles.

Obviously can't do that in Gaza, and can't use chemical warfare.

So a dumb question if I may to those in or having served, why can't we pump these tunnels with pepper spray/mace to incapacitate or extricate, then move in with gas masks? Obviously watching for booby traps, etc.

Yeah, Trump wins on tax cuts, border control and regulatory streamlining. As much as it pains me to say it, Biden seems to be stronger on foreign policy.

If Trump was President, Russia probably wouldn't have invaded Ukraine.

If Trump was President, I doubt he would play soft with Iran, and release billions in frozen funds, emboldening Iran & Hamas.

If Trump was President, we probably wouldn't have made such a hasty departure from Afghanistan, Leaving behind billions in military hardware for the terrorists, and getting service men and women killed.

Bidens foreign policy is better?

I guess I'm watching a different channel.

We used to use a couple of teaspoons of gasoline down holes to flush out rattle snakes, it should work the snakes in Gaza as well but on a much larger scale.

Back in the day of manual chokes driving a car/pick-up over a hole, attaching a hose to the tailpipe and running it into the hole then letting the engine idle with the choke at about 1/4 worked well.

the method for finding all the holes was easier- a 15 minute highway flare ignited and stuck down a hole and the hole sealed with a good sized rock. The smoke from the flare would follow the tunnels and appear where the tunnels surfaced, allowing those holes to be sealed.

Regardless of sex, the brain dead college students that are mostly now getting their tuitions paid for by the Marxist endowment contributors and/or the taxpayers are prone to sympathize with Hamas , BLM and every other left wing group. Most haven't worked an honest day of work in their miserable lives! It's time to withhold federal funding to those public colleges that encourage and promote radical agendas that have nothing to do with the students obtaining a degree in college. If they want to be radical, taxpayer funded public colleges should not be the place their allowed to do it. If it's a private college, every endowment contributor should be called out and publicly ostracized for subsidizing their radical left agendas. I'm sure we'd be unpleasantly surprised as to the individuals and corporations that are contributing and/or promoting the radical left agendas on our college campuses. The same ones promoting the "new world order".
I wonder how many of the young protesters hold dual citizenship; the US and Syria?, Lebanon?, Iran?, Iraq?. Pakistan?; the list goes on ...

Newsome? LOL
He is progressive enough and young enough to be a good alternative for the Democrats. More appealing to the suburban women and the younger voters to boot.

I think he would move the needle towards him rather than Trump in regard to the independent voters.

I am not saying that he would be a good President (actually a disaster for conservatives), just that he would be a much more electable candidate than either of the two old men that are running currently.

Not only would he be a disaster for conservatives but also for hunters, say hello to background checks for ammunition, many more trophy import bans and probably a few other things. I haven’t hunted California since the late 90’s but still have friends that live there and hunt and their stories are what nightmares are made of.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
