News on Ukraine is scant at the best of times, more so now with Israel/Hamas. I understand their position on a news blackout, but at some point it shoots them in the foot. When it is clear that public opinion is important, as it is in the USA especially, I would have thought that Ukraine needs to spread any and all good news it can. For example, all this hush hush about the crossing of the Dnipro, a big plus surely. Nothing to hide since the Russian MOD is reporting upon it themselves, and of course they say the Ukrainians have been repulsed. I just don’t see the benefit of hiding any light you may have.

Regarding the actions of the eight Republican representatives who caused the unseating of the speaker- I understand that their reasons are based on feelings of betrayal because the speaker failed to act on promises made to the eight. Whether this is fact or not, I do not know; but what I do know is that if someone is going to unseat the speaker it needs to be part of a plan for a replacement. So far I have seen no plan for action after the unseating. An analogy: you are on a boat on the high seas and are headed to some destination. You and a few others decide you do not want to go to that port, you mutiny and get rid to the captain- but you have no one to be in charge and steer the boat to the port of your choosing- so the boat goes adrift, following the main ocean currents and where it goes is strictly by chance. That is what my impression of the House of Reps presently is.

Maybe they believe they can "block" and harass our warships like the games they've been playing with the Philippine Coast Guard of late over a disputed shoal and fishing grounds? I guess a couple of days ago there was even a collision between two ships. Their fighter jets have been doing the same thing to us and our allies in International airspace over the South China Sea for some time now, with no more of a response from us than, "You meanies stop it, your scaring us"- my quote. Our bases in Syria and Iraq have come under attack AGAIN with no counter response from us that I've read about anywhere. It's no wonder Putin invaded Russia and we now have the Middle East mess AGAIN. IMO, clueless Brandon and his merry band of incompetent buffoons are leading the way. His almost complete "risk aversion" and appeasement policies have emboldened our enemies and created these and other scenarios unfolding around the world.

Oh yeah, Hamas knew Israel would eventually conduct a land invasion of Gaza. I'm sure everything is booby trapped and the terrorists will pop out of their tunnels like rats with RPGs and anti tank ordnance when the invasion occurs. I think Israel is playing it smart at this point with relentless bombing of specific targets. I personally would deploy a lot more bunker buster bombs on their massive tunnel complex before any land invasion. I'm sure somebody has maps(s) of at least some of the tunnels where their rockets, ordnance are stored and where their underground command centers are. Israel should be in no hurry at this point. The hostages are a factor but they could be anywhere underground so I don't know how you mitigate that issue.

I see AOC now conceding that hamas did bad things, but still sticking to the narrative that Israel is committing war crimes. They should show her the unedited videos of the atrocities, if they haven’t already. The bottom line is that it matters not what all the critics say, Hamas started this and Israel will finish it.

while you would think the beheading of children would be self evident.. and you wouldnt need explanation or understanding..

China’s Ji, Hamas, Iran, Russia, et al, are really shaking in their boots as Dopey Joe purses his lips, squints his eyes into the camera, gets close to the mic and whispers, “Don’t” ….. as his malfunctioning brain is filled with delusions of Corn Pop”. But I digress… the real enemy of our country and democracy itself is Trump.

For perspective about the Chinese incursion into the South China Sea no more complicated than looking at a map to gauge where the Spratlys and associated atolls are relative to Borneo (Malaysia and Brunei) and Palawan Island of the Philippines.
