Woooow. (sore neck from shaking head and dizzy from rolling eyes)The PC..woke brigade are at it again.....mind blowing .....
Bloody scary....
Either that or we have created a couple of truly immaturely dependent generations - emotionally and financially - that see no issue with extending their dependence to government itself. The issue to grapple with is that there has to be enough people dissatisfied with the current system to want such a wacky change. Absolutely be horrified with this. But, we have to figure out why this is appealing to so many, when we find it an anathema. I personally believe that a culture of a lux life, easy credit, and cheap goods, leave an entire generation with the idea that if life is challenging then it must be wrong. Worshiping at the Golden Calf perhaps?
I agree. I think it is part of a plan that they stumbled upon. "Leadership" at the governmental level has been largely confined to how much money can be moved to your friends. What real "leadership" has been required since 1989? With spending being being only priority of the day, it creates a voting base dependant on largess. With no real crisis at hand, it is a convenient way to secure power democratically.Either that or we have created a couple of truly immaturely dependent generations - emotionally and financially - that see no issue with extending their dependence to government itself.
Do you expect things to get better with Biden in the chair? I know that guy just hate us Afrikaans speaking people from South Africa. I noted from his past speeches...The so called tariffs are nothing more than a negotiating tool for a realistic NAFTA. The U.S. has been taking it up the rear-end trade wise since Nixon. Long passed time to fight back.
The irony of it is, the purchase of foreign goods just subsidizes socialist, welfare laden systems.
Buy a Mercedes? You're paying for a 37 hour work week for the highest paid industrial workers in the WORLD, health care, the defense of Germany and the rest of their socialist policies.

The baffoonery with COVID is due, I think, to a lack of skills in the governing class. You can't fix a real issue with a tax and spend toolkit.
Unfortunately I already support more than one.
I say your spot on. And I'll add my own opinion:The idea of "leadership" out of government is not a trivial problem. In fact, at least here, it is THE problem. All governments, including ours, have been largely peopled by thieves and murderers. HTF anybody can look for leadership out of the only native criminal class in the world just completely escapes me.
The no remorse is a big one. They have the ability to make decisions without taking into account human emotions or destruction. It is why they can make the "right" business decision and not worry about the human aspect.I say your spot on. And I'll add my own opinion:
Interestingly there is a large amount of pyschopaths/sociopaths (both have no empathy or conscience) that are CEO's, clergy and lawyers. They are typically over represented percentage wise with positions that have a power dynamic attributed to them.
So I'll take some liberty with that and connect my own dots that since a large majority of politicians are attorneys / lawyers that we probably have a large percentage in government positions. I think historically it would be easy to agree that some past dictators/politicians would be pyschopaths, ie: Stalin, Zedong, Hitler, Pol Pot, Leopold, Duvalier.
Most people attribute pyscopaths with the likes of Dahmer & Bundy but that is not necessarily the case. They can very successful since they typically don't exhibit fear, are cool under pressure, focused and ruthless. Pair those traits with no remorse and the shoe fits for a political appointee!
No doubt you are correct, although it seems the CCP already hacked and stole terrabytes of design intel on the F-35 prior to 2015. Probably wouldn’t mind getting to test drive one for real though!I long ago lost track of which way is up in this crazy world. But, with Italy signing on to the Belt and Road initiative, I was surprised to read they are customers of the F35. I will be surprised if that technology doesn't quickly find its way to other airforces now.

Lockheed Martin has recently delivered its 123rd F-35 Lightning II combat aircraft of this year to the Italian Air Force, despite Covid-19 challenges.www.airforce-technology.com
They gotta be able to build the tools used to build the plane. Maybe they'll be able to in the future, but as of RN, they can't. The plans may reveal weaknesses in the plane's design and performance, but they won't be able to make a copy of it.No doubt you are correct, although it seems the CCP already hacked and stole terrabytes of design intel on the F-35 prior to 2015.
