You mean, the COVID vaccine developed at the behest of DJT? The one he fast-tracked, suspending FDA rules? The vaccine Fauci, Donald’s right hand man, tried to make mandatory? You mean TRUMP’S vaccine? He’s still taking credit for it.
Yep, that one. And let us not forget all the draconian measures implemented by his administration to prevent the spread. One of those forgotten bits of inconvenient history.

We need to make sure we have better people at this position next time. Don’t be gullible and leave. Stay until the counting is declared done. That’s our fault that it happened.
Our own fault? The LAW escorted them out. The left had the law in collusion.

You guys do actually read these articles don't you? You realize they are talking about a possible future pandemic from a new and as of yet unknown novel virus (most likely) or bacteria or mutation that could be more dangerous than Covid.

I would think it would be smart to assume such a future outbreak of something like that is likely to occur. It wouldn't even have to be something like a pneumonic plague with a 50% death rate. A 10% death rate would put every infected country on the planet into an economic tailspin.

One would hope what went right and wrong during Covid would be a topic of intense study and discussion.
I think there are some here doesn't even believe the plague had happened or even evolution for that matter.
It's all a hoax!

Meanwhile back at the front ...........

This is a very short clip illustrating this new sort of drone warfare. The Ukrainians are in the tree line and are getting worked over by the 30mm auto cannon of a BMP. They call in the UA version of an airstrike. A drone carrying an armor piercing warhead, likely from a RPG, responds and crashes into the rear upper deck of the AFV with catastrophic results for vehicle and crew.

It's interesting to see the various TTPs coming out of this conflict, seeing a Mosin-Nagant being used alongside a shoulder operated counter UAV device is wild. However, I can remember Team guys bringing up potential applications of UAVs almost exactly like what the Ukrainians are doing here about 8-9 years ago, they mostly just got scoffed at. You'd get a similar response from commanders if you suggested using a UAV and local cellular infrastructure to send live video feed to a media server for an OTH solution (both sides have been doing it in the war). I had a buddy who in 2014 used UAV stream to adjust Partner Force artillery fire on an advise and assist mission (essentially acting as a FO), it worked out so he didn't really get any crap for it.

As much as our military leadership likes to think of themselves as "outside of the box" thinkers, it usually just doesn't play out that way outside of SMUs, and maybe a handful of special applications. I can understand the apprehension of trying new things, but man was it frustrating, some people are just set in their ways, especially when it comes to tech.

The Switchblades were a hit though, at about $50k a pop.

I do have a good buddy still in the UAV world, he assures me commanders are becoming more receptive to his gospel, haha.

I firmly believe, when failure happens and one takes ownership of the failure, then one works very diligently to make sure that failure does not happen again. How is the Republican Party in Pennsylvania and President Trump’s campaign making sure this does not happen again?

I come on to this thread by invite, that is by some member complaining about sub par behaviour.

FYI, Next personal attack gets to join JG. :S Banned:

It has no place on AH.

Sub par behavior? Hell, that describes my entire existence. Hope I don’t offend

I have not heard of any push to reform election laws either state or federal. I sometime wonder if the Republican Party is brain dead.

President Biden is clearly struggling with his mental capacity, but the Democratic Party’s election machinery in 2020 was very well oiled. On the other hand, I think the Republican Party candidates are talented and sharp but our election machinery is not very good especially in battleground states in 2020. As we enjoy debating the merits of candidates and attending rallies, let’s remember that there are some very non-glamorous jobs that have to done to win an election.

There is some effort but much of it seems late in coming. Most of the effort is from state Republicans. Some is financed at the National level. From my understanding NC and GA have done the best. Others not so much.

Will it make a difference. We will find out.

GA Republicans with their new election rules have responded well. They clearly got out worked in 2020.

The collateral damage from the detonation looked more damaging for the troops in the treeline than the 30 mm cannon!

I was thinking the same thing!

Since you are from Texas, I will mention that Texas was in a position to go blue in 2020. Harris County was implementing mail in ballots and ballot harvesting. (a couple other counties were waiting on Harris to get completed) If not for Paxton, the count would probably have been stopped in Texas like it was in the other states on election night and ballots would have been found.

There was an ulterior motive to removing Paxton from office last year.

We finally have a requirement to show a picture ID when voting. A few years back North Carolina voters passed a constitutional amendment requiring an ID to vote. That was held up in the courts for years because the argument was that the General Assembly that had approved the referendum on the constitutional amendment was gerrymandered. It took changing the composition of the NC Supreme Court in the last election from a 4-3 Democrat majority to a 5-2 GOP majority.

Only two of the seven constitutional amendments passed in 2018 were challenged on those grounds. The other was a tax cap. Evidently, the NC Chapter of the NAACP didn't care whether an amendment that guaranteed a right to fish, hunt, and gather wildlife was proposed by a gerrymandered General Assembly.
