It is not just cheap goods.

We just ordered bunch of Phoenix Contact (a German Company)24V power supplies etc., all made in China even paid a 10% tariff on the goods due to some sort of a sanction.

Not to mention a lot of other electronics, iPhones etc., all made in China.

Perhaps change "cheap goods" to "cheaper goods". Your point taken.

I'm really surprised China hasn't manufactured sporting firearms and exported them everywhere? I think Norinco is Chinese made, but I haven't heard of any others.
They make an 870 knockoff marketed as New England Firearms Pardner Pump.

Norinco is very muh present in Europe.
And I never heard of any quality issues.
All kinds of guns, pistols, rifles, replicas or their own production.
AR15, M14, rimfires, etc. (and I never saw m14 in gun shop, unless it was norinco)

Recently I was on a search for ar15 (high end ar15), and went to one local gunshop.
I was a bit disapointed, there was no SIG or daniel defense, but available were several options of norinco ar15.
Gun shop owner told me several of known shooters use norinco ar15 on the matches and they are happy with performance, accuracy and quality.

One thing that caught my eye was pistol in caliber 7.62x25.
It is basically Russian tokarev pistol caliber. And pistols in that caliber are down to few models and phased out from production - russian tokarev, and its clones, plus one checz old pistol (i think CZ52)
It is potent pistol cartrdige, high velocity, bottle neck. Good feeding.
Guess what.
Norinco made new pistol, that looks like replica of sig 226, in 7.62x25
So, Norinco have potential on sporting gun market.
But I never saw their replica of proper hunting rifle. (I wouldnt mind seeing their mauser 98 magnum action in 375 or 416, maybe they just didnt get the Idea yet)

Agreed.

However, dictators stay in power based upon achievements, i.e. Hitler through '42 and Napoleon through 1811, or intimidation and suppression of criticism. I believe that Putin may have squandered the first through this invasion and has been relying upon the latter for more than a year. At some point the damn will break - probably through a popular alternative or even a complete collapse of system that we saw 1991.

If Putin is smart enough to see it coming, and believes that Ukraine resistance will continue with strong Western support, he will look for a negotiated way out. If he believes Ukraine will be forced to seek un unfavorable "peace", through this administration's lack of resolve or Trump's cooperation, then he will likely attempt to ride out the swelling discontent.
"damn" well damn - it should be "dam"

Can anyone explain why 113 Republicans would vote No on expelling George Santos from the House? I get wanting to keep a Republican in the office, but the guy is a prolific liar that you can't utilize effectively. Seems a dereliction of duty to vote No on that issue.
I'd like to think it has something to do with waiting for a conviction, not simply an indictment.

As far as expelling a politician for lying, that's kind of like handing out speeding tickets at the Indy 500.

If one is being expelled for lying then every single politician in govt should go. None of them could or can tell the truth to save their worthless useless asses.

"There, but for the Grace of God, go I" is very pertinent in this instance.

CZ pistols are very well built and command a premium price here versus a Glock, Smith, etc. I'll never give up my Glocks though. IMHO, they are the finest combat handgun ever designed and made and are STILL priced reasonably so everyone can afford one.

Current situation in Gaza.

Yes
In one of my previous lives, I had to carry and be proficient with various arms- including handguns, rifles and shotguns. That responsibility required continuous training, shooting and qualification. Without any doubt and without any keyboard BS the only handgun that never failed and never had a FTF or hiccup on the line that I witnessed or heard about, having witnessed thousands upon thousands of rounds fired, was the Glock firing quality factory ammo. Name the semi auto brand and chances are sooner or later one would malfunction. I learned and trained on the revolver before the entire unit converted to semi-auto within listed parameters - IIRC, 9mm, 40mm and 45acp with factory ammo, soft point bullets were the standards allowed for normal carry. The other thing rarely mentioned about the Glock besides reliability is its simplicity of operation- no safety lever(s), no cock and lock, etc. No second guessing if under stress. Same condition all the time... dbl action striker fire. Press check for round in chamber, holster and ready to go.

The loyal Trump sites were lauding his reception at the Clemson game yesterday - until suddenly they weren't any longer  (for you Yankees and other foreigners that is in red South Carolina) . I suspect this would have been a different crowd in '20. Some of the true believers should perhaps pay attention. :E Head Scratch: It is hardly just the band, and I would describe the reception as decidedly mixed.

This clip has been recently analyzed. Turns out it was jacked with to exaggerate and showcase a selected outcome. TDS is something else. How does it feel to be duped into reaching a directed conclusion. :)

Good Morning x84958
I have read your post about Jamy Traut and your hunt in Caprivi. I am planning such a hunt for 2026, Oct with Jamy.
Just a question , because I will combine Caprivi and Panorama for PG, is the daily rate the same the week long, I mean the one for Caprivi or when in Panorama it will be a PG rate ?
thank you and congrats for your story.
Best regards
Philippe from France
