So did eleventy six of the Clinton's friends and associates.
I'm not sure they still have the power, but IMO they have the know-how.

Camel Harris will definitely step aside if required. She is part of the the machine and knows how it works. Jeffery Epstein F'd around and found out. So did eleventy six of the Clinton's friends and associates. Harris will never suicide herself.
I ALMOST believe Harris wants out? I think she realizes as VP she is in WAY OVER her abilities and competence and has probably been told that in private by some fellow Demonrats? I agree with you that if Brandon bows out she will go with him. She's not electable.

And Turley on the likelihood of Hunter seeing any jail time with respect to the gun charge.

I said when the indictment came out that first of all, the 25-year period is unrealistic. He's [Hunter Biden] a first offender. But more importantly, these are not going to be daisy chain. They're not going to run consecutively. They would run concurrently even if he's convicted on all three. As a first offender, he would then get a substantial reduction from the maximum. But there is a real chance that he would get no jail time at all. The question is whether this is just the start of a series of indictments and whether he's looking at some other charges coming down the pike.

Per his attorney, Abe Lowell, Hunter intends to fight the charge based on the SC’s decision in Bruen. Which said the State can’t prohibit firearms ownership and possession unreasonably. Not without some basis, he’ll say this would also apply to drug use that didn’t result in a criminal conviction. President Biden, a.k.a The Big Guy, derided the Bruen decision as a product of the “MAGA Supreme Court”. How rich it will be to see the test case for this being brought by a guy named Biden.

I’d wager that if there are follow on indictments, the next one will be failing to register as a foreign agent. They don’t want to issue indictments for anything that can be connected to The Big Guy. The failure to register charge is the one having the second least connection to sleepy Joe.

Even richer in that daddy was the one responsible for the one of laws that Hunter broke.

Reuters poll is interesting. No wonder the Dems and media have started throwing Biden under the bus this week.

I still object to the Blue-Red state system. Years back I recall the Democrats were the Red and the Republicans were the blue. I think the Democrats objected because it was too much like the color of Communism- but it's true, the present day democrat party is a virtual mirror image of Lenin's party. Republicans should be Blue, Democrats should be Red!!

I am glad someone else remembers this. It still irritates me that they switched the colors.

Has anyone been following Vivek’s policy theories? Being in the millennial crowd, I am leaning harder toward him now than I previously was. Originally, I would have been fine with DeSantis or even Trump. I’m almost to the point where I would put Vivek over both now. All of the no nonsense mindset of Trump with policy. He is also more controlled and doesn’t deal with the banter.

Domestic he might do OK, foreign policy ideas are a disaster.

I’m sure he wouldn’t be the number 1 choice for the world abroad. He seems pretty set on correcting our domestic issues. Not too interested in the rest of the globe.

Well, when the rest of the globe goes to crap so do we. There is no such thing as an isolated, self sufficient USA in todays world. Commodities are all globally traded, we have a fraction of the manufacturing needed to support ourselves, I could go on. It sounds nice, but that ship sailed a long time ago.

You can blame it on Nancy Reagan. Red was her favorite color and she always wore the color for election and campaign events (and darn near everything else). It gradually became the republican color on all networks during election cycles of the Reagan years.

Besides, red is the classic power color. Why shouldn't it be Republican!

The red-blue thing is odd. Seems some kind of fairly recent construct. Originally, in the US/ Colonies/Revolutionary period, blue was Colonial and red was English.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
Behind the scenes of taking that perfect picture.....

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
