Emily Flower, spokesperson for Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen, decried the ruling as "absurd" and said the office planned to appeal. She criticized Seeley for allowing the plaintiffs to put on what Flower called a "taxpayer-funded publicity stunt."

"Montanans can't be blamed for changing the climate," Flower said in an email. "Their same legal theory has been thrown out of federal court and courts in more than a dozen states. It should have been here as well, but they found an ideological judge who bent over backward to allow the case to move forward and earn herself a spot in their next documentary."

I found another quote from Emily Flower in another article. She's spot on as to why this case was allowed to go forward. Started by a little brat whose life is made possible by fossil fuels.

So......we have another radical baboon Georgia D.A, whose father was a Black Panther leader, charging Trump and 18 other's under the Georgia RICO act?

It's time for SCOTUS to take open their purses, take out their balls and man cards, and do something about this political hit job.

On EV vehicles, Congo is where 80% of worldwide cobalt comes from. To produce those nifty batteries.

Anyone know the makeup of the Georgia Supreme Court just in case the latest indictment gets that far?

Another conservative commentator over on Red State who clearly seems about to have had enough. Whatever Trump did or didn't believe - whatever he did or didn't attempt to do, Sydney Powell and Lin Wood did enormous damage to our institutions by impowering with a sense of credibility the ignorant, but normally harmless, conspiracy community.

And just for you curmudgeons who missed out on some real rock in the seventies.

Your hood is showing...

Also, it is a State indictment, not the purview of SCOTUS unless somehow it gets moved to the Federal courts.
I call it like I see it. The D.A comes from a "Hate Whitey" family.
The D C case is Federal. It all spiderwebs from there. States also have a Supreme court.

Every single member of the court was appointed under a Republican governor, and elected statewide in nonpartisan elections. Though a "non partisan" membership, the court is considered conservative. However, the Trump brigades of course hate Brian Kemp who won the state their candidate didn't carry and who refused to participate in an alleged effort to overturn the certified results for president. I would assume in their eyes he and his predecessor would have appointed nothing but RINOs. I should add, in what may or may not be an indication of the court's mindset, a year ago they dismissed unanimously Trump's request to bar the Atlanta DA from prosecuting him.

Jeez, I grew up with Jethro Tull, Clapton and CCR. Mom was a big fan. Cohen and Pink Floyd as well… Then Beethoven, Verdi, Tchaikovsky on dad’s side

I doubt her family allegedly hating whites has anything to do with the case. Trump attracts hate from all races, political parties and all walks of life all by himself whenever he opens his mouth. :ROFLMAO:

Trumps mouth is hard to take, if he could just stick to policy he would be fine. He just can’t do it. I don’t think the country can take another 4 years of what we have now, if Trump wins the nomination I will reluctantly vote for him.

The surprise in the indictment is Lin Wood not being mentioned. This would seem to indicate he is States Witness.

Sydney Powell had a good reputation as an AUSA and as defense council during Enron. Her books read well. As Trump's attorney she went nuts.

Trump seems to have an affinity to small firm loners for representation. ie: Michael Cohen, Sydney Powell, Lin Wood, Roy Cohen etc. Not sure if he wants the independent fighter or if he is just too cheap for the high end white shoe firms. It has certainly cost him. At this point the high end firms probably wouldn't represent him. I have no clue about the attorneys representing Trump now. If they aren't top end it will show.

Haven't listened to Jethro Tull in a long time. Just put Aqualung Album on for background.(y)

I think you are spot on. Lin Wood is likely willing to say almost anything in this instance. A competent defense team ought to play hob with this even in an Atlanta courtroom - certainly setting conditions for a strong appeal.

This DA is unlikely to present anything resembling an iron clad case even setting aside the questionable legal precedent. Her handling of the grand jury, the accidental release of the charges and membership of the grand jury prior to its dismissal, yesterday's ludicrous assertion that she intended to try all 19 defendants simultaneously are not the indictors of a disciplined legal mind at work.

The DOJ will try to push through the two Federal cases to get them to trial prior to the election.

The Fulton County case will have way to many moving parts for this to happen in a normal case. The Judge could just makes it happen however. If this case ever comes to trial, Trump's attorneys will have the opportunity to show election interference/fraud to a captive nationwide audience since the trial will supposedly be televised.

I have not read the GA state case yet, but I suspect its like the others. Trump will win on appeal, because the government has not brought case that can hold up on appeal. IMO they are designed only to keep Trump out of the Whitehouse, but doubtful. I think there are three of the charges in the Florida charges that are not exempt from the Presidential Records Act. The DC cases good luck proving Trump did not believe that the election was stolen. And the NYC case, as I understand the state has still not filed a "Bill of Particulars" which is several months late.
