Please correct me if I'm wrong; under the laws being passed in Illinois, NY and other places, all those hundreds of thousands of Ruger 10.22s, Winchester 94 22LR's (and many more) will be subject to seizure, and the owners prosecuted ... ??

As far a gun laws are concerned, it matters not how we dedicated owners/hunters/shooters interpret the legislation, their bottomfeeders, and judiciary have the final say, unless we can afford to fight them in the courts.

To throw in my 2 cents, for everyone saying it will be overturned, good luck with that. AR type rifles have been banned here in Connecticut since 2013. There is zero traction to overturn the law.
