If you were to trim down your dangerous game rifle collection, which cartridge/rifle would you let go and why?

That's interesting. I have three (soon to be 4) 375's and the BRNO wouldn't be the first one to go. I like that rifle a lot since the safety is modified to 3 position. It might be the last to go!
One of my Pre64 M70 Supergrades has taken 80% of my African species including 2 of the Big 5. Too many memories on that gun so if I’m going to reduce 375’s that’s staying. The other M70’s carry some collector value that will only continue to go up. I’ve never shot either Brno so there’s zero sentimental attachment and it’s collector value won’t increase the way a Pre64 m70 will

ZKK-602’s are really popular. You should be able to sell them easily.

Yah, i have no doubt. Just a matter of making time to take pictures

The only dangerous game rifles I have are two .375 Rugers; an Alaskan and an African. Of the two, the African would go first. I had the Alaskan threaded for a suppressor and generally prefer all-weather hunting rifles. The African is better looking though. Rebarreling the African to .416 or .458 is always in the back of my mind too. Not sure how well it would feed as a .458WM though, since the .375 Ruger case is fatter.

Without a shadow of a doubt I’d stick with 404 j

Not coz it’s the best

Because I know it well
