Good Gun Deals This Week

Normally my friends find me to be the turd in the punchbowl. I never buy a weird caliber looking for trouble because indeed, the .425WR is an underpowered caliber that is expensive to feed. But @Wishfulthinker580 is correct, at $1500 per rifle, I'd take all the CZ550s they want to sell. Just back the truck up to the door and I'll cut a check.

Investment grade my friends. Go shoot it, have fun. Sell it in 90 days for double that amount if it pleases you.
Found this today...

CZ 550 in .375H&H for $1400 - with a scope

what about this?

I think it is priced in the ballpark. I wouldn’t consider it a deal. The swivel stud in the forend is an automatic no go for me on a DGR, but doesn’t bother others. Chambering hurts it a little as well. Pre-Covid that was likely in the $1800-2K range. He may get asking price for it.

Thank you .. certainly, unfamiliar with it. Prompt research into the 450 Ackley, interestingly.

This is not exactly a gun deal but a gun case deal. A Sept 21st auction in Oklahoma has two Tuffpak cases up for auction. They both currently are at $3 each. The auction also has a number of pre-64 Winchester Model 70s along with some custom rifles. The Tuffpaks are in lots 377 and 405.

Leonard Burke Firearm Collection, Guns, Scopes, Ammo, Knives

Im actually tracking that action for some other items.... I looked at/considered the tuffpaks.. but I think shipping on those is going to be a killer..

if they go for a crazy low price then maybe the ass kicking from shipping wont be such a big deal.. or if the winner lives within a reasonable driving distance of OK City.. theres a real chance at getting a serious bargain here..

but if you have to ship them.. Im thinking its going to be hard to get a bargain (I looked at shipping a tuffpak that I ended up selling locally last year to a guy that was interested in it... USPS was going to cost me north of $150... UPS was my best option.. using PirateShip.com I think it was going to cost me something like $90.. it wasnt cheap..

I was thinking more like $50 or so. Even if it is $100 shipping and you have to pay another $100 for it, you are still coming out ahead. That Tuffpak goes for $450 new.

Question about this one - why has it not sold ? Seems a very good deal - thinking about bringing it back to Europe !

yes in Europe threaded is Positive - suppressors being easy to obtain
anyhow will see if they price drop - then might go for it !
Chambering, threaded barrel, significant drop etc. hurt it, but should have sold at that price.

Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
To much to political shit, to little Africa :-)
Spending a few years hunting out west then back to Africa!

Hello. If you haven't already sold this rifle then I will purchase. Please advise. Thank you.

I doubt you are interested in any trades but I was getting ready to list a Sauer 404 3 barrel set in the 10-12 price range if your interested. It has the 404J, 30-06 and 6.5 Creedmoor barrel. Only the 30-06 had been shot and it has 7 rounds through it as I was working on breaking the barrel in. It also has both the synthetic thumbhole stock and somewhere between grade 3-5 non thumbhole stock
