We had a father booked a cull hunt to introduce his 15 year old son to Africa hunting. Over 5 days the boy managed to bag 14 animals. Attached is a review he did on facebook!!!
And so we finished our last hunt of the season, we were truely blessed with great friends that joined us this year and we look forward in seeing you all again. Even though it was our last hunt we still mamaged to bagged some fine animals
We tried hunting the springbok with the bow with walk and stalk getting to 38 yards the client was not comfortable with the shot. So we pushed forward to try and get to 30yrds. Well we got busted and as it was the last evening he opted for the rifle as he really wanted a springbok. After a great stalk we got him at 60m
Please dont hesitate to contact us for your 2019 safari. We will be in the US in January and we are looking forward in meeting some of the members on here
Something i would like to share!! On our last hunt our client shot a great wildebeest but the shot was a little back, as we all know the poor mans buffalo is as tough as can be and we couldn't find it before darkness set in. So the next morning we were out early to go and look for it again. We went by my Parents house to pick up the dogs to assist in the search and my boy now aged 2.5 saw me.
Well that usualy is a problem as he always want to come with and the comditions doesn't allow for it. But the clients said there is no problem ans i decided to take the young man with. We started around 7:30 and the young man stayed on daddies heels all the time helping to look for the Wildebeest.
At around 12:30 we found it in a dry river creeck and the young man was still going strong!!! It is just one of those special momemts i wanted to share and part of how we get the young ones into hunting. Thanks again @Jeffrey Norman for letting me take him with and share this moment with him.
The young tracker was not to keen of us taking his picture but here he is with a proud farther and a proud hunter with a magnificent trophy
Today i took my 9 year old daughter for her first hunt!! She has spend some time with me in the bush prevouisly but today it was her turn. . We stalked into 2 kudu bulls and she said she wanted to take a shot. Armed with a 243 shooting 75gr Vmax i knew it was a big gamble but i thought lets give it a go. I told her to male sure of the shot and at about 80yards she hit right on the money!!! We found him only 30yards away from where she shot him!!!
I dont think there is a better way to end the season, as this is a moment that will stay with me forever
Here is my first born with her first African animal!!!
Unfortunately i cant upload the video but she wanted to say a prayer when we got to the animal thanking God for the opertunity and for the fact that it was a Kudu
