Biden Presidential address to congress

Again we will disagree: Tim Scott knocked it out of the park.

I think Biden missed one important fact for his party.
Since the Biden administration was voted into office, maybe the new generation does need an extra 4 yrs school !
The Biden admin wasn't voted into office. They committed the most massive fraud in American political history (Joe made that clear) and the GOP stood aside like the cowards they are

It was a serious question, but I truly appreciate you insightful and informative reply! Back to cleaning my Bruno’s now.

Pretty much confirms which of the 2 groups you're in.....and it isn't the trolls

@Red Leg I greatly appreciate your taking the time to pen your responses. While this guy is a lost cause, there are others that might be reading through and will benefit from your well written rebuttals to the nonsense this administration is attempting to foist on the American people. Thank you sir.

Unfortunately, unless we can regain control of the education system in this country, every generation is getting more and more indoctrinated by the left's version of utopia. It is invasive even in the story problems in the math books. Coupled with revisionist history and a total lack of real world economics or civics, our children are not getting a proper start educationally. As most of us know, at least those of us that paid attention to real history, an uneducated, ignorant population is much easier to control. Best current example is China. Hmmm, Biden's buddies with China; no connection there though, right?
I am still optimistic that intelligence can win at the ballot box. We are in for a rough couple years here, but if Biden continues to push what he is, I believe the quiet, used to be silent, majority will wake up and put some coffee on; and hopefully change the control of both houses.
Want to take any wagers on who will be the Dems candidate in 2024? Hint-it's a girl. Oh, wait, can't say that anymore. It'll be someone who identifies as a woman of color
If HR1 goes through it will make the 2020 election fraud look like a mild glitch

That is the intent of the author. It is also in direct conflict with the constitution. Oh, wait, that's another thing they don't care about.

democrats don't need to abolish the Constitution, they just ignore it on their way to creating a socialist utopia aka a third world Venezuela lookalike. For the first time since 1791, imho the Second Amendment is becoming relevant - the right to bear arms - and no Joe, it's not a federal govt right, it belongs to the people.

I don't think Biden will get much done with any meaningful gun control. They will probably pass some sort of infrastructure. Don't think he will get everything he wants. Biden downfall may be the stock market. The market is over valued and we are long overdue for a bear market. If you notice this year the large, mid and small value indexes are doing better than the growth indexes. This is what happened in 2000. That year the large value index was up. Infrastructure spending may hold off the bear for awhile but he will show up and the party in power will take a hit. People vote their pocket book. Gun control and abortion are just a diversion. Nothing meaningful will happen to either one.

I regret not spending time in Australia while I was young enough to qualify for a no questions asked work visa as an electrician!

Does the superannuation work like a pension where you receive a defined monthly sum upon retirement, or does the money go into an investment account, and upon retirement you get a lump sum to withdraw from?
@Aaron N
Depennds on the company and also what you want. With my wife she gets a lump sum payment plus a weekly income.
Others take a lump sum and have a managed fund.

I am sick to my stomach. At the outset of Gutfeld they had a rundown of hosts on shows on MSNBC, CNN, and the like just freaking gushing over Biden's speech. Apparently I had earwax build-up and missed out on the singular best speech since Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. :A Vomit::A Vomit::A Vomit::A Vomit:

I watch the stock markets like a hawk eyeing a fat rabbit. No better indicator of the health of the nation. Previous trends and indicators are not difficult to find.

That's normal for the propaganda wing of the democrat party. If they said the planet was a sphere I would become a card-carrying fully paid up member of the flat-earth society. Anyone who believes the garbage coming from the above two (journalism is dead) channels has their head firmly up their arse.

I get that. Totally. I knew they would stand behind him. But the level of arse kissing and disillusioned support was just unbelievable.

Speaking of the most boring speech ever.... No doubt the opposing party's response to a State of the Union is a tough tough job. Tim Scott was the right person to present the counter, but it was far far too vague imo.
I wish Tim had commenced his counter speech with
"What a load of utter utter bollocks!"

If the Senate does not have a quorum then the Dems can not vote nor pass any bill. If the Republican stand together and boycott the senate vote then no quorum is possible thus killing any chance for these assinine, bankrupting the country bills to pass. The stock market is telling us in a very subtle way that the economy is not fond of any of Biden’s proposals, regardless of what the Woke corporate boards are projecting. What is projected in public is different than what is thought in the minds of the corporate execs. Corporate earnings and future grow generated by cash flow, which is the result of consumer spending and confidence drives our overall future of success or failure economically worldwide....do we truly want to be looking at China thru our windshield or thru our rear view mirror. Those of us experienced from past successes and failures are being downplayed by a younger generation driving the votes and woke strategies from those that have only seen the best of times and have no idea how their ridiculous, pollyanna view of life is directing us down a path a third world nation...inflation, divisive atmosphere dependent on foreign supplies of our most important resources and goods all in the name of save the planet, and their contempt for the rich.
