There wasn’t a lot of hourly wage jobs here until I’d say the last 15 years or so. Most everything was piece work you got payed for what you actually did. I’m starting to see where that was a more honest system.

Its crazy. Im raising my rates in july to offset costs. When the new minimum wage hits. I will be forced to raise them again. Its expensive on the road. So when food laundry and ect cosy more, my drivers will need a pay increase. This whole mess is just ridiculous and not needed.

(1) As to those "outrageous CEO and Executive" pay, you can thank the Democrats for that, by making salary over 1 million non-deductible. Thus payment in stock options. For every rule you make someone will find a way around it.

(2) The capital gain and elimination of the "step-up basis." For the majority of land owner this will be a disaster. Again thank the democrats for that too. The answer is Life Insurance. One of the most powerful lobbies in DC. They have a solution for every problem, that Washington creates, they should, they have an exemption for each problem.

(3) Biden - his best days are long behind him. He has never been correct on any issue. Habitual lier and plagiarizer. The only thing is boss Obama did right was kill OBL and Biden was again wrong on that too.

He not only removed a certain General, he purged the military of virtually all conservative high-ranking officers, making the military now the woke arm of the democrat police which includes ALL of the alphabet agencies. The new police will be federal, trained by the FBI, this is the future pilgrims.

That is the Plan, but to what end “?” Many local/county Sheriffs are strong 2nd Amendment supporters, And They will not enforce the gun confiscation laws headed our way. But you can bet the the Fed police will be glad to. Sheriffs are the last line of defence for citizens because they are elected not appointed. If you have a good Sheriffs department, support them, they may be the only ones standing between you and tyranny. I see some states fighting back, supporting the Constitution regarding the right to bear arms, they need support as well. I wonder if Bi-deng is promoting a surge in gun sales as much as Barky did. I believe people are waking up and a further wakeup call coming when taxes go up, fuel goes up and the flowon effect from that. Even yellow dog democrats are getting nervous.

Yeah I don't understand this "living wage" crap! I'm sorry but a dishwasher or a store clerk isn't supposed to be a career job!! You are supposed to work your way up the chain by working hard, keeping your mouth shut and getting promoted. That's the way I was taught and raised. I've been working since I was 12 years old and always tried to move up the chain until I started my own business. Nobody gave me a damn thing or a $1400 check from Uncle Sam!

Interesting discussion for sure. The lefts lack of economic understanding is mind blowing. Those with resources will develop a plan to conserve them, sleepy Joe and his minions do not have the ability to outthink the market. Money is already moving offshore, corporately and individually (how many of you have been advised to shift investments into international growth funds?). Inflation is inevitable as is rising unemployment. So the end result of left wing policies; the poor get poorer and the rich maintain or gain. The democrats used to be the party of slavery, they still are, only now it’s economic slavery. Perhaps they’re not stupid after all!
