Neat stuff. PRS has come a long way since my 1990 Custom 24. They have some really interesting one-off guitars.
I ran this by him (never had this much time to bs) but he sent his 90 24's .. they are a work of art. Thanks for bringing them to the attn, really cool.

wow that honey colored is a beauty! Really interesting on the one in the case to see the pickup selector at the volume position.

Here is my custom 24. I swapped the 5-way rotary for a toggle, but kept the sweet switch instead of changing to a tone.

Here's the receipt. My dad picked it up on the way home from work 8/10/1990 - look at that cost - $1375! That was a fortune to a just-graduated high-schooler!

I hear ya ! I just wish it was easy to learn. I've been learning for about 25yrs and still dont play very well. Spent money on several pro's help, bought the measured pings and everything you could waste money on. The first time I played I was like 23 and shot something like 120 something. 25yrs later and alot of money, I still only shoot mid 90's. Best game ever was 84 on a course I have played alot.
People talk smack about golf. But they dont understand how hard it actually is !
I always play in the 70's and at worst 80's because if it gets any hotter than that I go to the clubhouse...

I had to pass this on to him .. that's pretty sweet. Thanks for sharing.

I also like fresh water fishing, light tackle. My bream outfit uses a little Mitchell 408, fifty years old new in box that came out of Sacramento (good old e-bay). A fly fishing shop in Johannesburg is currently making me a tod for it on an old Fenwick blank.
For tiger I use a Calcutta Conquest 51 on a Pagani Trad pistol grip rod, finesse. The new Calcutta Conquest 101 is on order, that will go on a Smiths pistol grip rod for the bigger fish. The quality of these reels is mind blowing, 14 bearings, I don’t know where they put them all, but the result is smooth retrieve beyond belief.

I’m a Kentuckian through and through. My hobbies include bourbon, horses, and historic firearms (Kentucky rifles specifically, that one is a Bryan rifle, made by Daniel Boone’s cousin.) I’m also into historic preservation, I love antebellum homes.

Oh, and rock climbing. We have some of the best sport climbing in the nation in the Red River Gorge. I make it down there as often as possible.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
