Anti Poaching Pictures

Glad to hear you got the guy. Stories like this really highlight the importance of funding anti poaching operations
Exactly, the effort that goes into the APU and patrols doesn't often seem worth it until an event such as this.
Then you realize how important it is to keep boots on the ground all the time.
Scouts have been recording species data, sightings and locations and we are definitely noticing a positive trend in all numbers from small to large.

I take my hat off to the anti-poaching work being done....but it is a bit hard to be optimistic on the whole considering that Africa´s population will double by 2050...sad..

That is insane. Well job young men and women.

So, something I have wondered about for a while. How much do those rifles cost, or more accurately, how much does it really set a poacher back when the rifle is confiscated? They don't look to be in great repair, are there just barrels of parts laying around so when one rifle is taken it can be replaced that afternoon?

Old muzzle loader, locally hand made, or of old vintage at least locally repaired? It should be in two digit number in us dollars, that would be my guess.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
