An afternoon, evening to kill in Johannesburg

I'm after the forum's help. I'm in ZA next week for work and now have a spare afternoon/evening/night to kill in Jo'burg on the Thursday (12th September.)

In the past I've only stayed in Jozy (Sandton) for transit and a New Year's party, we did some of the museums...but wondered what people recommended doing i.e.:

Are there any game parks worth visiting in that time? If so I guess I'd need to hire a car.?

Anyone on a stop over in Sandton and fancy joining me for dinner?

I assume an afternoon/evening plains game cull hunting is a little ambitious!!

I have a hotel booked (Protea Marriot in Sandton) Thurs & Fri eve but don't need to say there Thurs eve.

I need to be back in Jozy for breakfast with a (non hunting!) cousin on Friday.

I have hunted three times in ZA and once in Zim.
