African Themed Coasters

PLACE YOUR BETS

First let me thank all the members on this site. With all the orders for coasters I've made enough to add a zebra to my upcoming trip. As a thank you, I've made a set of coasters and a stand to give away. I was trying to think of a fun contest, so here's what I've got-- the member who can best guess the date/ time of zebra harvest wins.. The picture below is the set I'll send to a member upon my return home.
Place your bet below and good luck.

My actual hunting days will be August 1-7 2016

Rules..
Open to all AH members
One guess per member - 1st guess counts
Member who can guess the closest date/ time to harvest time wins. (Africa date/time of course)
Time will be based off of when the shot was taken.
Must enter by July 25 2016 11:59pm
I'll pay shipping inside the continental US.
If a member outside the continental US wins I'll pay the first $10 of shipping, the remainder will be on you.
Prize value =$30
Prize will be shipped upon my return home.

Here's a little more info for a strategy.
I'm headed back to Kimberley SA. Main goal - find mr kudu who gave me the slip last year. Goal 2 zebra , I'm not picky if he's mature and has strips then the arrow will fly. I'm also after a black wildebeest or a hartebeest, springbok and Impala. It's a lot for a week of bowhunting but I'm optimistic.

Very nice of you to offer @Jody!

I'll throw my name in the hat... August 3rd at 8:15 am

@Jody first off congratulations on earning that zebra!

I love the coasters you made me, so I can't pass up the opportunity at getting some more!

I'll place my bet: 4 August, 1015 am

Jody

This is going to be fun! Is it the first Zebra or the second? I like to play games but you need to know the rules. Since the first pick is going to be the one that counts that might be important.

Tom:)

Oops thought you said TWO Zebra:(

Tom

Use our coasters every day. We guess August 3rd around 3:15pm

Well folks I wanted to share with everyone what Jody made for me! He is a master woodworker and loves a challenge! Two or three emails and he had it built with pictures sent for my approval. Then he stained it perfectly and shipped it to Kansas! I am thrill with the presentation for my elephant tail!
Thank you Jody! ( I take lousy pictures) four feet tall, 15 inches wide and four inches deep! I got the glass at a local glass shop! Looking forward to getting this one on the wall!

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.
