There's PH's here with 9.5lb Jeffery's that are surgeons with the damn thing.
It takes a lot of Practice, $$$ to become proficient & controlled.

Ridiculous video to some perhaps .. but it's 10lbs.

Pretty damn slow.

Well he's gotta debate whether he wants to take that next shot each time. At least it's not blowing him backwards. Nobody will ever be as good as @Aussie_Hunter. Three shots of 500J out of an R8 rapid fire. That was impressive.

Pretty much mastered it and Just wanted to move onto the next thing I wanted to play around with.
There’s a really nice R8 in 458 Lott for sale here at the moment that I’m considering.

Limbsaver Nitro pad. Much more pleasant to shoot! Atleast that’s what my gunsmith says.

Oh the 500 JEFF....truely the best stopping caliber available....it puts anything down....hard..coming or going...my absolute favourite dg caliber. Those who think it is "too big" for buffalo have clearly never had to stop buffalo, liin, hippo or elephant at close range I can assure you. Yes maybe it is a bit much for a visiting hunter but for a profesional it makes a lot of sense especially if elephant is hunted on a regular basis.
Yes it is a 500 and yes many wont be able to master it but if you can there is no finer dg stopping cartridge for the big ones....

All ro do with shit placement and bullet construction. I would gladly take on buffalo with a 280 AFrame or big 310fn Woodleigh.
