Brno ZKK 602 action....Magnum Arms and Steve Fourie....@IvW. would you have a suggested or preferred builder for the .500 J?
Subjective question & mostly unaffordable in my lifetime .. however, ie. "Heym Express"?
Then I havent met your PH yet....Interesting opinion. I had a PH back me up on my last buffalo hunt with a sako. I'm glad I've had a better experience with the sakos.
I have a Sako 85. It is a staggered mag. Mine holds 3 down, I use leupold QD rings and I did not have trouble with ejection issues, but I think I went with medium, or high, I will double check. I ended up putting a trijicon RMR on it. They made a base that fits the Sako scope mount. I killed a deer at 110yds with the RMR. It is a great handling rifle. The only issue is the size of the mag box if you want to run longer bullets. OAL of 3.550 is all you got. Not an issue with any bullets except maybe Barnes TSX 570's. I am going to shoot mine some this afternoon. I will post some pics here later todayMate that looks like a Sako. I need to know is it a single stack mag? And do you have any ejection issues with it whilst the scope is fitted?
your rifle doesn't have a hooded front site? Did it come that way, or did you do some custom work?I have a Sako 85. It is a staggered mag. I am not a big cal person, maybe I havent got there yet, but I must say that these big chunky rifles carry off proportion so much better. Handsome things. And if $ & concern were of No concern.
Short of that Dorleac I Exploit enough here .. A SSB Drop Box Magazine, aesthetically speaking.

Yep. You can snap 4 in the mag but the fourth won't go down far enough to push the bolt over it. It will run 3 in the mag with one in the pipe easy though. I just did about 3 repetitions of that for some 25 yard off hand rapid fire. Can you run it as a 3+1???
Sounds like a great set upYep. You can snap 4 in the mag but the fourth won't go down far enough to push the bolt over it. It will run 3 in the mag with one in the pipe easy though. I just did about 3 repetitions of that for some 25 yard off hand rapid fire.
