Just got back yesterday from Zim. All I can tell you after using Afton House years ago, which is very nice, the easiest is City Lodge. Gracy's people meet me, gun permits taken care of, then off to City Lodge. Pick me up in the morning and off to AirLink

Mike Baird with B&B Taxidermy in nw Houston has done all of my African work. I guess about 50 animals from 19 safaris. Just does not get any better.

most important is practicing off of sticks, you can use a camera tripod Many have never taken a shot off sticks and it can be upsetting

Good luck buddy I am on Flighr 200 Friday and staying at City Lodge. I like that route and it has worked very well for me. I will see how I like comfort+ and row 30

There is a tremendous difference of opinion on optics. The 375 is not a heavy kicker so many scopes will work, however mine 20 years ago destroyed a Burris with posi-lock. that is when I bought the Leupold What is really necessary to determine the difference is to look at the same object...

I just looked at the seat map on my Delta app. The economy bulkhead is row 37. This the seating on the June 28 flight which is the new seat configuration

I am flying Delta bulkhead row 30 of comfort+ in a few weeks and again in September. I flew Premium Select last year and enjoyed it.

I can only give you my experiences. Have now traveled out of the country with firearms around 30 times using the same Americase 2 rifle case with built in keyed locks. Open at checkin at Baton Rouge or New Orleans then off I go. Next time it is opened is out of country

Concerning the Joburg gun hassle and layover. I guess I have been very lucky (I hope it continues) because my last 7-8 trips using Gracy travel simple. They meet me as I get off plane, handle permits, lead me to City Lodge, come get me next morning, handle things and off I go!

I'll second B&B taxidermy. Mike Baird and his team have done close to 50 African animals for me, no leopard unfortunately. I have seen at least 20 leopards he has done, fantastic work

I use 200 grain Hammers in my 35 Whelen. I have taken a zebra, hyena, some impalas and a couple of deer. Extremely accurate and devastating on animals

I bought the 8" Jim Green boots with the African Ranger soles a few months ago. Love them. They required very little break in and walking with them several times a week
