Currently i have load with: 450gr A frames at 2050fps 450gr hard cast at 1800fps (light loads) 435gr hard cast at 2100fps I plan to load 450gr barnes original fnsp to atleast 2000fps and 535gr hard cast to about 1800 or 1900fps I feel fairly confident with all those loads minus maybe originals...

This was at 100yds out of my 45-70, muzzle vel was about 1950fps, so I'm assuming impact vel was around 1550fps

No reason why, other than curiosity. I have the 500gr bullets I plan to use in it. I just happen to.have a bunch of the 350gr a frames that I use in my 45-70, and I find them more than satisfied at 1950fps. Was just curious if anyone had used them pushed to lott velocities

I've shot plenty of big stuff without a brake, and have no need for it. But unless I can find a suitable protector, or decide to chop the threaded portion off, I'll just rock it as is. I am by no means recoil sensitive, but I do prefer to preserve what little hearing I have left

This is the first muzzle brake I've ever had on a rifle, I'm not w fan of the looks but will give it a shot (no pun intended), until I can find a suitable thread protector. Or maybe I'll just fall in love with it lol

My new 458wm. Mod 70 super express. Came with a bunch of ammo. Now debating reaming it to 458 lott, it already cycles and feeds smoothly with 375h&h ammo, so I believe it should be good to go after a simple reaming. Previous owner had the longer extractor added and mag box opened up already
