Yes, it has been very dry. Dalton said 100% crop lost this year. We tracked through a couple of the fields and you can see that any plants that did germinate had been eaten to the ground.

I’m bad about taking pictures of the camp but I did get a few. Attached are pictures of the dining area, the bar (in the middle of very bad drought water can be up to the bar) the chalet and a picture coming into camp in an area normally under water.

My first trip was in 2003 and I was 35. At that time thought I’d be paying for that trip for the rest of my life. Headed to Zim in July to hopefully get my elephant and complete my Big 5. You can never go just once. Enjoy your Safari.
